Maybe that's the same sandwich his brother orders and he thought his brother was a State fan, but after seeing that you order the same sandwich he now thinks his brother is a michigan fan?

Edit: wow, I got that right?

Apparently no one (NFL or college) is interested in Pep as of yet. Don't know if Harbaugh will make him walk if no one hires him but be prepared for Pep in 2019.

It's possible he can change. Once in a season of NCAA 2014 I lost the title game to my best friend and I scratched my whole offensive playbook. I went back to the drawing board and threw out my "USC" playbook of manball for a custom playbook heavy on Pistol, 4 and 5 wide, and option. I won the next 4 titles. So, you see, if I can do it, Pep can do it.

Is it possible Harbaugh could drive Pep over to Pioneer and see if they’ll take a chance on him?  Pioneer HC - “We’re not really interested in long developing route trees with ineffective pass protection.  We’ll pass.  Good to see you Jim!”

If that happened I would be one of the people who would need to see the doctor for experiencing an erection lasting more than 4 hours in the Viagra commercials. My pants wouldn’t be able to handle that much excitement.

My fear is that it'll be a 2020 commit. Not that I wouldn't be happy about a new commit, but that it would feel like how it would feel if you found out you won a new dishwasher in a raffle the day after your house burned to the ground.

New multi-year contract for Don Brown.  Partridge back to LBs/Viper with new title.  Zordich a new multi-year contract.  New Safety coach is Devin Bush (senior).  New DL coach announced.

Brown has finished his self-scout and is ready to reload his defense for 2019.  Time to develop some new dudes.

There was a point in the game where the commentators said Clemson was worried about Bama's heavy use of quick slants, so Venables prepared for that and used something called a "zone."

My two questions from that are:

1) Can DB look into this strategy of preparing for something your opponent might look to exploit-- such as quick slants?

2) Does DB know about this crazy "zone" concept?

Yes - DB used the trap zone in the Penn State game and it worked well (see Long INT).  He tried it against OSU but was torched by Haskins anyways - they prepared for it.  Biggest issue for UM's defense was no pressure on Haskins by the DL plus Bush went out and ultimately our slot coverage guys lack speed equal to Parris Campbell.

DB is never going all zone, that is not his base defense.  He is adding Dax Hill and Quentin Johnson, i.e. elite speed at safety to cover elite slot receivers.  Both will see the field as freshman.

I think they were waiting for Washington to decide on taking UM's DL offer.  When he choose OSU they executed plan B.  All along I think Mattison wasn't going to get renewed if Washington accepted the DL job.  Mattison jumped on OSU's "senior statesmen" role as a bit of an "f-you" on his way out.  Just a gut feel.
