29-1 in last 30 games!!
Fellas have that soak in a while. 29-1 in last 30 games for the Hoops team. It’s unbelievable. Anyone not on this train, and upset about football still, better get aboard ASAP!! Super fun to watch and can beat you in a ton of ways. Nice to see our squad show up and play well in big games. Embrace the basketball. The next 3 months will be a fun ride.
Oh, if you live in AA area, get out and support this team. Every night at Crisler should be rocking!!

Really nice win today.
January 6th, 2019 at 7:31 PM ^
Especially without Livers. That was an impressive win. Go Blue!!
January 6th, 2019 at 8:14 PM ^
Johns stepped up today! That was nice to see.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
So I guess this thread can be the POSBANG
Bang, bang, bang!!!
Go Blue, that was a hell of a victory and without Livers but it was great to get Johns some valuable minutes and he played great!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:09 PM ^
15-0!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:32 PM ^
Wish it was FB record.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
Got tix for Northwestern game on Sunday night. Can't wait. People around my seat will either love or hate me because I'm going to be loud the whole time.
GO BLUE!!!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
They will love you!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:45 PM ^
If they hate you for it, they should be watching from their couch.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:06 PM ^
I was loud all game today with no issues at all and I was in a normally quiet section.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:09 PM ^
Same
January 6th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
When will JB open up the offense? So much talent on the floor and we're wasting it every game.
/s
January 6th, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
RPO should be used more.
January 6th, 2019 at 7:53 PM ^
Lord have mercy, undefeated and you two are complaining about Beilein using the team.
Unbelievable
January 6th, 2019 at 8:01 PM ^
Dude... he even had the /s.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:15 PM ^
Whoosh
January 6th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
Those Poole drives! Those Simpson hooks! That Teske defense! Matthews with the move and slam! Holy shit this team is a blast to watch.
January 6th, 2019 at 9:15 PM ^
poole has made a huge soph leap. the more i watch him, the more i have to believe this is his final year in the maize and blue. he's not just a sniper from deep, his dribble drive ability is incredible. hopefully, we have another deep tourny run.
January 6th, 2019 at 9:19 PM ^
Poole is a natural talent. He is so silky smooth with the basketball. I have a ton of confidence in him whenever he has the ball.
January 6th, 2019 at 11:11 PM ^
Some of those drives by Poole were next level stuff. There are not many as talented as he and he still has so much upside.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
The hook shot by Simpson
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
Clark Kellogg spoiled his trousers about 3 times
January 6th, 2019 at 7:40 PM ^
As did I.
Oh, wait . . . you're talking about during the game.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:05 PM ^
Clark Kellogg has the intellectual agility of a small soap dish.
Imagine a quizbowl team with him, Bardo, Crispin and Len Elmore. My German Shepherds would beat them.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:25 PM ^
Clark is an OSU Trustee of all things.
January 6th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
Sky hook is back baby
January 6th, 2019 at 7:41 PM ^
Z was also 2/2 from the line, I'll take it!
January 6th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
Bang’d up
January 6th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
And the defense!! Holy wow the defense! Morgan from Indiana got his but no one else did. And Morgan is a friggin beast so that was kind of expected.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
25 points on 22 fga with a ton of free throws in there. I'd say we're fine with him getting his if he's going to take up that much of their offense
January 6th, 2019 at 8:40 PM ^
Beilein seems to be content letting the big guys be high usage. We rarely give help and almost never double. Pardon, big guy from PSU whose name is escaping me, and then today. The formula is working...
January 6th, 2019 at 6:58 PM ^
Some of those points came off free throws. Don’t get me wrong, he definitely played well, but he was gifted at least a few of those points.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
Terrific post. What a great and fun team to watch!
Those Mgobloggers who have been so damn negative during the month of December- time to shut your pieholes. We are so lucky to have this coach and this team!
Go Blue!
January 6th, 2019 at 9:22 PM ^
As of about 5 years ago I was negative whenever Michigan hit its December or January slump. Not anymore. I have total faith in Beilein.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
Nice win without Livers. Great to see Brandon Johns chip in with 8 points on 4-5 shooting.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
If he can keep doing that, it will be big. Adding another dependable player to the rotation is a good thing. Keeps the team fresher.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:47 PM ^
To go along with 8 rebounds.
January 6th, 2019 at 8:13 PM ^
8pts on 5 shots, 8 rebounds, and it took him only 13 minutes on the floor to put up those numbers.
It's great to see his patience, maturity, and hard work rewarded with some success... and more minutes :)
January 6th, 2019 at 6:47 PM ^
He also played great D and had a ton of clutch rebounds
January 6th, 2019 at 6:45 PM ^
Brandon Johns Jr coming out party! He looked great today.
January 6th, 2019 at 7:03 PM ^
Agreed. The pass from z to jr was unbelievable
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
Been a lot of fun watching Michigan basketball, especially the last 30 games. Always improving. Coach B is a basketball wizard with some great young men and players. Bang !
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
I will never doubt this team again. That is all.
January 6th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
perhaps even cooler: zavier simpson is now 48-8 as beilein's starting PG (.857 win%). poole is nasty and i want to hang out with his cat. go blue!!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:02 PM ^
Great stat. He’s the alpha
January 6th, 2019 at 7:18 PM ^
Where's the poster who said a few games ago that Brooks has passed him based on his brother attending a game? Utter nonsense, obviously. X is the straw that stirs the drink!!
January 6th, 2019 at 7:30 PM ^
There was an epic sub-thread recently about metaphors to describe Simpson's importance to the team. My contribution was "the remote that turns on the TV."
January 6th, 2019 at 7:48 PM ^
I like it! +1
January 6th, 2019 at 8:24 PM ^
the snarl in the dog, the venom in the fang, the menace in the villain!
