Hoping the Big Ten can stay undefeated.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:04 PM ^
At least you don't have to hope for very long...
December 28th, 2018 at 2:05 PM ^
Why? No UM fan should ever root for OSU unless it directly affects the Wolverines.
December 28th, 2018 at 1:50 PM ^
Purdue looks like crap.
December 28th, 2018 at 4:02 PM ^
Looks like????
December 28th, 2018 at 1:51 PM ^
Purdue is getting, and will continue to get, trucked.
December 28th, 2018 at 1:53 PM ^
Fitting, given that the pregame show was an extended Jeff Brohm slurpfest
December 28th, 2018 at 1:52 PM ^
It's early, but Auburn looks to have some mismatches on offense.
December 28th, 2018 at 1:53 PM ^
For a "meaningless" bowl game on a Dec Friday afternoon, that stadium is well filled.
December 28th, 2018 at 3:19 PM ^
Nashville Close to both Auburn and Lafayette and is a destination/vacation city. Not exactly a hard sell.
Edit: A downvote for this? Wonder who I pissed off.
December 28th, 2018 at 5:16 PM ^
A good reminder that there's millions of misserable people out there, don't let the bastards get you down. Btw, love your avatar
December 28th, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
Assuming the game is in Nashville? I'd make that trip to see my team and spend a few days listening to great music and eating amazing food! I'd way rather hit Nashville than say, Orlando or Tampa
December 28th, 2018 at 1:53 PM ^
14-0 and other than a dropped pick, Purdue looks completely outmatched on defense.
December 28th, 2018 at 1:54 PM ^
that's being played right now? it's not even 11 am here in California. I'm back at work. can't believe there is a bowl game on!
December 28th, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
Brohm has to be the highest paid .500 coach ever right?
December 28th, 2018 at 2:26 PM ^
Charlie Weis says hi, asks if "slightly under .500" counts?
December 28th, 2018 at 1:59 PM ^
Auburn just isn't that good but is making Purdue look worse than they have all year.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
I mean, Michigan State made Purdue look bad too. Michigan State. The team with a quarterback that only completes 25% of his passes.
The stars aligned for Purdue against Ohio State. Most notably, Ohio State forgot to show up.
December 28th, 2018 at 4:05 PM ^
For some reason the Auburn D coordinator isn’t walking 8 people up to the line of scrimmage every down like Schiano did with tOSU. Auburn doesn’t show any sign of letting up, they might score 80+.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
41-10 loss to Minnesota was also pretty, pretty bad.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
Ohio State lost to this Purdue team by four TD’s. Good God.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
Doesn't that make you sick? It does for me. How certain teams, like MSU, Iowa, and now Purdue, can beat OSU, yet they continue to truck us, is a mystery to me.
December 28th, 2018 at 3:51 PM ^
They have a shitload of talent, can coast until the UM game for the most part as they don't seem to get other teams best shot the way Michigan always seems to, and are always going to be focused for the The Game in a way Michigan can't seem to match.
It's really not much of a surprise.
December 28th, 2018 at 4:30 PM ^
You really think we get everyone's best shot and Ohio doesn't? We are the only ones who think Michigan is a better win than Ohio...
December 28th, 2018 at 8:18 PM ^
I think it's more of a mentality thing. OSU gets a good shot, but teams don't seem to believe they can actually win the game. That's not the case with Michigan.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:26 PM ^
Apparently Purdue is good at defending the slants but not the deep ball.
December 28th, 2018 at 4:20 PM ^
That’s what happens when you game plan for Michigan and not Purdue.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
I picked Purdue, not Purdont. They may want a reboot.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
Never saw a coach get so much love for being proficient at managing and developing exactly 1/3 of the units used in football. There's a reason that Purdue's best season in God-knows-how-long is still gonna leave them at 6-7. Brohm should've left when he had the chance
December 28th, 2018 at 2:15 PM ^
But don't you know, he TURNED DOWN his DREAM JOB at Louisville, albeit for a ridiculous raise. That means he is at Purdue to stay forever and ever, and has impeccable integrity
December 28th, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
I was under the impression that Purdue was the best team in the B1G? Where did I get this information?
December 28th, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
Purdue is pure trash
December 28th, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
Varsity vs JV here. Nice crowd. Will clear out some at halftime. Purdue is gonna be down fiddy.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:03 PM ^
Ok, but what's your prediction for the second quarter?
December 28th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
Purdue down a buck fiddy
December 28th, 2018 at 2:28 PM ^
Bout tree fiddy
December 28th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
Before this post is 15 minutes old it is 21-0. Damn!
December 28th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
Purdue with Brohm is going to end up like a Big 12 team. All offense and no defense. And I mean like Texas Tech, not Oklahoma.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:13 PM ^
I’ll take all offense and an average defense instead of what we got now.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:19 PM ^
So basically the Rich-Rod era all over again?
December 28th, 2018 at 2:29 PM ^
I’m sorry did Rich Rod ever have an average defense?
His offenses weren’t that great either.
I’ll take Purdue or Oklahoma style offenses all day with an average defense. Purdue with our athletes would be way more consistent
Love the posters on here who think asking for more on offense means we want Rich Rod.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:05 PM ^
Crowd appears to be 80/20 in favor of Auburn.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:09 PM ^
Rondell Moore throws like Julius Peppers might have thrown if that aspect of the Pep Cat had ever been unveiled
December 28th, 2018 at 2:15 PM ^
Edit: he does everything else pretty freakin good though
December 28th, 2018 at 2:40 PM ^
I would enjoy watching 40 year old Julius Peppers attempt to throw a pass
December 28th, 2018 at 2:10 PM ^
Auburn easily laying the beatdown.
December 28th, 2018 at 2:14 PM ^
Early beatdown, but it appears Purdue just realized it can throw. Down to the Auburn 7 1st and goal.
