What did You Ask Santa to Bring You?
Mates,
With Christmas only 3 days away, assumedly Santa and his elves are busy working on your gifts and loading his sleigh. Assuming you aren't on the 'naughty' list, what did you ask Santa for? My list was short: another chain saw and I think I'm going to need to step up my tractor game, too. That one is going to be tough to gauge just how much further I'll need to go.
So the question is, as the title says: What did you ask Santa to bring you?

My Christmas present is always my season football tickets, but my wife usually gets me something small in addition. I told her this year all I wanted was a win over OSU.
She got me a bottle of Scotch.

Some nice bottles of Bourbon. Got me a Elijah Craig 18 yr, Rhtoric 25 and George T. Stagg. Really really lucky!!!

Another healthy and loving year for me and the family.
BTW, national championships for Michigan in all sports would be great stocking stuffers.

Doubt Santa can fit this on his sleigh and those lazy reindeer probably would refuse to pull it if he could : (

You obviously don't know how Santa works. Have you not seen The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix? One of the better x-mas flicks for sure. Great family movie.

I'm hard for my wife to buy for. We don't have the budget for some of the "cool" things I want and the smaller things I want or need I usually just pick up when I need them.
She bought a replacement for the 360 that fried this fall, though. I'm happy; gotta keep playing NCAA 14.

Not sure about backwards compatibility with playing NCAA14 on an XB1, but there a lot of great deals on the XB1S (not the X) this season

Definitely think that’s a possibility in the future.

This is what I wished for right here! A shortish post from stephenrjking! My Christmas is complete!
edit: (teasing of course)

A couple years ago I got a hard drive for my 360 so I could play NCAA 2006 from the old Xbox (the one with Desmond on the cover). That is still pretty much the only game I play. Maybe a little Tiger occasionally.

A curse on OSU (YTOSU) that they may never win another football game.

I didn't ask for anything. Of course I'll get a bunch of things that I'll never use. Garage dust holders. I got myself a bottle of Carolans for my coffee on xmas morning. Always seems to make it better.

looking to train for water retrieving and agility but also be my go everywhere right hand dog. intrigued by upland field training but haven't done that. i'm pretty good at training labs for basic stuff and daily life. Years ago one of my other males labs got to know almost 70 different phrases.
i've always had labs and just had to put down my last lab at almost 9 years old due to brain tumor and massive seizures. he was a rescue and had some wonkiness to his hips and back legs so i had to be much more careful with what i allowed him to do so he wouldn't blow out his knees. he was an amazingly sweet animal and i've been absolutely devastated by his loss.
so this time around i'm being a little selfish and trying to save myself some potential heartache by paying attention to the genetics and visiting the parents. verifying hips are good. etc... unfortunately that is not something that can be done with a rescue.
as far as naming i've got a list but until i see his face i won't know.

sorry to hear about your loss. those are tough to deal with sometimes. our first lab was a black male, and he was 'that dog' for our family. his successor is a fine pup, but not the superstar.
if you can train for water as well as i'd guess, you'll be fine training for upland birds. i have only rarely waterfowled, but they both did fine when asked. much more the upland hunter. oh, and kind of quirky, our present lab is a natural sheep herder which has come in incredibly handy a couple of times. go figure.
you're in the pacific NW, right? do you have your pup already picked out, deposit, etc? i gotta guy in seattle for you who might have a litter. he is an outstanding human being and hunter. if he doesn't have a litter, i bet he knows who you might contact.

i'm in southern california but i'm looking at breeders from all over using the AKC website. i want a very intelligent and trainable dog that will pal around with me as well. i've been looking at some breeders in colorado where my sister lives, utah, california, and also in michigan where i can have my parents check out the parents of the litter. i'm open to breeders from anywhere if the health and temperament are there.

2) Michigan football victories over OSU, MSU and PSU, (plus all others they should beat)
3) A B1G football title and playoff berth
4) give me any or all of the above
