Quavaris Crouch to choose school at 6:30 tonight
December 21st, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
I'm confused. What does getting JD Johnson (gunslinger) out of Arizona (desert) have to do with Crouch?
Neg me for the WHOOSH.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:33 PM ^
He's saying Dudek specified those things in the tweet so as to be clear that his ralphie gif was for Johnson, not to confuse anyone into thinking it was for Crouch. I had the same confusion as you at first.

Lorenz is tweeting he’s going Blue.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
Link? I only see his tweet where it says he's signing (somewhere, not necessarily UM) today.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:26 PM ^
That's from yesterday and he never said he's goin blue.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:14 PM ^
Umm no he's not?
December 21st, 2018 at 1:16 PM ^
Where? I don't see it on his feed?
December 21st, 2018 at 1:32 PM ^
The significant update is that he is choosing at 6:30 tonight.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:41 PM ^
Uggh. You suck for getting my hopes up.
December 21st, 2018 at 5:22 PM ^
He would be wrong. Rocky Top.....
December 21st, 2018 at 12:28 PM ^
oh lawd he comin'
December 21st, 2018 at 12:29 PM ^
Boggles my mind how anyone could choose Tennessee over Michigan. Unless, they seriously have no interest in academics. Not begrudging the kid's choice but it is hard to understand. And not even a comparison football wise either.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:42 PM ^
Crouch made it clear he doesn't like cold weather. Pruitt isn't a bad defensive coach either and Crouch wants to be a linebacker.
Neyland Stadium is almost as big as the Big House, so the vibes will be similar. For all the bagmen people, Tennessee's class is good but it's no where near what Georgia was reeling in after Kirby was hired.
No doubt Georgia is cheating further affirmed by what Nolan Smith was tweeting out about his new whip which oddly enough was right after NSD.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:46 PM ^
Wonder how that's going to work out for him when he gets drafted by the Packers?
December 21st, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
If that happens I'm sure whatever the Packers are paying him will help.
December 21st, 2018 at 2:43 PM ^
I'm sure he and that team in the NFL will figure it out when he gets there. In the meantime, while he gets to pick where he plays for three years, he's got every right to want to live somewhere he likes the weather.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:58 PM ^
Smart was 8-5 in his first season Pruitt was 5-7. Athens is nicer, UGA is much better school, and Georgia has a ton more HS talent than Tennessee. UGA recruiting really wasn’t that weird Tennessee’s class is.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:05 PM ^
How is it weird? They’re getting the new coach bump that every school does.
Their class is only ranked 16 right now on composite. With Crouch it probably jumps to around 12.
Under Jones they recruited top 10 classes.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:46 PM ^
Yeah wesq, glad that you have common sense unlike many others that post on this blog. An education and impressive GPA at UofM clearly cannot help this either in many instances Doesn't take much thought or life experiences to see what is more than likely going on at Tennessee. Now the comments will follow how this sort of opinion is just pathetic and there is no proof to make assumptions. Years from now, hopefully these idiots will wake up one morning in their 40's or 50's and ask themselves how was I ever that stupid.
December 21st, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
The state of Georgia has like 40 4 stars. Tennessee does not.
It's a cool college town but they've been so bad. It's not like Pruitt had success this year to preview good things ahead.
Maybe they're just going a really good job. Maybe it's the other thing.
December 21st, 2018 at 3:49 PM ^
I've enjoyed games in Knoxville/UT, but I wouldn't call it a call it a cool college town. It's vibe is closer to East Lansing than Chapel Hill or Ann Arbor.
December 21st, 2018 at 3:55 PM ^
Definitely a party school but to me Knoxville is more WVU than EL given the campus is nicer (than EL) and the outdoors/nature options available.
Splitting hairs a bit there but I agree it's not Ann Arbor. The students do have a good time and not just in a drink in garbage apartments kind of way.

Because $EC
December 21st, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
He's coming to Michigan
December 21st, 2018 at 12:44 PM ^
If he picks Tennessee, it would be a real head-scratcher, unless, of course, we're talking Tenne$$ee.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:03 PM ^
Pruitt / Tennessee = Freeze / Ole Miss
I predict another bridesmaid roll for Michigan in this one
December 21st, 2018 at 1:14 PM ^
.....that is the only way to spell tenne$$ee.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:49 PM ^
From your lips to God's ear...still not going to get my hopes up. If he comes, it will be a great surprise.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
is Tennessee even a decent school? i have no idea what their academics look like.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:47 PM ^
UTenn academics look a lot like many of the UTenn students - toothless.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:49 PM ^
No, it's not. But a pretty decent number of recruits don't have a single fuck to give about academics.
Quick story. My kid has a class with a freshman FB player (I'm not naming names). She says he's really nice, polite, shows up to class, and works hard. She also says he has no business taking classes at Michigan.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:53 PM ^
that makes me sad. they don't realize the impact that getting a Michigan degree will have on their life if their Plan A Football Career doesn't pan out.
December 21st, 2018 at 4:32 PM ^
I think this is just an honest mistake on your part, but I think that you misread Hatter's post.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:54 PM ^
Kareem Walker and Ahmir Mitchell for example
December 21st, 2018 at 12:55 PM ^
So, she's judging him on that single class or is she aware of his entire academic performance?
December 21st, 2018 at 1:34 PM ^
He asked her to proofread something for him. She said it was written at a middle school level, at best.
December 21st, 2018 at 3:36 PM ^
I remember trying that strategy on at least one hot but nerdy looking Michigan coed. I selectively needed lots of help at Michigan...
Also, not to go there, but writing level doesn't necessarily indicate intelligence level, especially if someone was simply a decent student in their own school and never challenged in that way.
December 21st, 2018 at 3:42 PM ^
I'm not questioning his IQ, just that he is completely unprepared for Michigan (or probably any other decent school). Without FB he'd be at a community college or working at Home Depot.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:07 PM ^
This isn't entirely true. On Forbes list of public Unis, Tennessee is around 30-something. I was talking to my buddy's kid (Bama fan) yesterday about why Michigan is superior in almost every facet. I went looking for said Forbes article to show how shitty Bama is by comparison and Tennessee was a good 35-40 spots ahead of Bama for what that's worth.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:23 PM ^
....but, but 'bama has an engineering school with a cool football dean.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:42 PM ^
35-40 spots ahead of Bama isn't saying much...
December 21st, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
But he does......clearly to him, his business is football. Likely without football, he would take those classes more serious, or wouldn't be taking the classes at all.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:46 PM ^
Yes, but on the other side of the coin, I just spoke to somebody that had Harbaugh in her honors English composition class. She said the class wasn't easy, and Harbaugh was an active participant who wrote well.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:35 PM ^
I know enough people (transfers mostly because they don’t care about test scores) who weren’t particularly bright and did just fine at Michigan. You can make Michigan pretty easy if you want to, you can also make most any school really hard. Calc 2 isn’t going to be that much different at Michigan than Tennessee, and most kids at both schools aren’t taking it.
If the kid is working hard and showing up he belongs. No he probably won’t challenge himself with academically but he is challenging himself with a very high level of football.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:07 PM ^
The Academics at all these SEC schools are shit.
But thats the reason their football programs are "The Shit".
December 21st, 2018 at 1:44 PM ^
The only good academic SEC school is Vanderbilt. Then there's a huge gap where you have Florida and UGA. Then another huge gap where you have the rest of SEC which are all trash universities

Sprinkle water on the goon squad and watch them multiply. Fingaz crossed for QC!
