Dax Hill recruitment: lemon eaters need to come forward and pay the piper
Ok. So I have a really good insider who told me right away that Dax Hill was flipping back. So I tried my best to screenshot all those who said they'd eat a lemon (or bag thereof) if Dax Hill flipped back. I know I wasn't able to capture all those citrus commitments, so please those that I missed (we'll find you if you don't!)
Unfortunately, I've been trying all morning to get the screenshots to attach, but can't seem to do so (damn you Mgoblog 3.0). So, I'm just going to write them in below:
RockinLoud: I will suck a bag of dick-shaped lemon flavored candies if he flips back to UM
B1G or Bust: I will suck a bag of lemon-shaped dick flavored candies if he flips.
Perkis-Size Me: I'll eat a lemon and shit myself simultaneously if he comes back.
I Like Burgers: I will eat a bag of lemons the day Michigan flips a 5-star Bama commit.
Motives: I am of the same sentiment, lol. (meaning that he will follow I Like Burgers' lead)
Adrian: ll see his bag of lemons and raise another bag, mostly because i like lemons
DCGrad: I will take a lemon too to help with this.
BIGWEENIE: I will do it. 1 bag of lemons. Come on down kid
Chalky White: I'll eat a box of Lemon Heads.
theguy49503: I'll volunteer to help you (I Like Burgers) eat them
LSA91: I don't want to identify the things I would eat to get Hill back to Michigan.
ih8losing: I'll join the lemon eating party should Dax flip back to the good guys.
Alumnus93: What? No way it's same as Solomon.... Hill doesn't live in Alabama does he? Why on Earth would he have to hide a Michigan committment? I don't buy this..at all.... I'll gladly eat a lemon if wrong. (I like lemons)

I left some wiggle room in mine. (And to be clear, I was expressing a desperate willingness to bargain with Angry Michigan Recruiting Hating God rather than skepticism).
But I'll be happy to eat a lemon for the team.
In hindsight, we should have all committed to contribute to ChadTough.

An extreme instance where I couldn’t be any more happy to be wrong! I’ll admit, I’ve been pretty emo this year because I thought that this may have been our year to see the Maize and Blue in the playoffs. This class has shattered the expectations I had, and Hill will be a dude from day one. I think we reload, not rebuild next year.
Because of the impossibility of my tongue-in-cheek “bet”, I’m willing to do something else to pay the piper for how wrong I was.
I’m thinking a $30 donation to the charity of MGoBoard’s choice. I wish I could donate more, but things are getting tight as we approach the holidays.
I’ll post proof of my donation to the most recommended charity.
I’m sorry for being insufferable at times, I will learn to keep all things in perspective. I need to cool it with the BPONE and be thankful that we are miles ahead of where we were in the late 2000’s.

I kid. Donating to a worthy charity is great, but do it only if you believe in the cause and organization. Don't do it because you feel pressured about a wild claim you made on a college sports message board.

I really do feel like donating. No pressure at all.
I know ChadTough is one of the most worthy causes a Michigan fan could donate to; but I know there are a lot of great causes out there that mean a lot to people.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation (or really any cancer research foundation) is another cause that means a lot to my family and others that have been effected by the disease.

Had to donate tonight due to unforeseen circumstances.
Even though it’s not a lot, I hope it helps in any little way possible and we find a cure for this terrible disease.

Well, not really. As awesome and generous it is to offer up charity, its a cop out. You are bound by your honor and your word. No way around it - you're sucking dick-shaped lemons (or lemon-shaped dicks or whatever). And we need video or it didn't happen. :)
In all seriousness, either is fine by me. I'm not one to judge. I'm actually surprised as many people came forward. I can't wait to see some of these videos! :)

Unless anyone has any objections, I’m leaning towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation. It’s a cause that hits close to home, and has a hint of irony around it given the situation.

I'm still surprised that all the "realistic fans" who have been lamenting Michigan's inability to pull in elite 5 star talent haven't shown up to admit the hastiness in their assessments. I would think some mea culpas would be in order; perhaps an apology to the Board in general for fostering the negative bent it's taken on the previous few days.

I used to eat lemons as a kid similar to how people eat oranges.
Is not brushing immediately after a real thing? Does the same thing go for citrus drinks?

Biting into the wedges daily is the worst. Orange juice for breakfast daily then brushing can eventually be a problem.
