OK thanks. I'm a regular listener to Sam in the morning but obviously I missed that one.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:27 PM ^
Welp. I think we should just consider Zach and Dax goners. Dax's dad stated that distance became a factor while Dax also mentioned bama was always in play. No reason to think that changes 1-2 weeks after he flips. And Zach, well he's been gone since the 3rd quarter of the osu game. Sucks.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:31 PM ^
I sadly agree with this pessimistic outlook.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:42 PM ^
When distance (250 miles) is stated as a reason, distance is a cop out, not a reason.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
The distance thing is a little weird. I know Alabama feels a lot closer to Oklahoma than Michigan and culturally they feel a lot more similar, but it's 9 hours from Tulsa to Tuscaloosa vs. 13 hours from Tulsa to Ann Arbor. Tuscaloosa isn't significantly closer to my mind. It's still a flight or a long weekend's drive either way. Shrug emoji
December 16th, 2018 at 9:33 PM ^
"Dax's dad stated that distance became a factor"
Am I the only one who thinks that this is a complete bs cop out? Like how does distance become a factor just now?
December 16th, 2018 at 9:36 PM ^
Wish I didn't agree, but that's pretty much my read on the situation. But I have zero knowledge of anything that isn't posted here.
December 16th, 2018 at 9:43 PM ^
Tuscaloosa is a 10 hour drive from Tulsa and Ann Arbor is 13 ... proximity to home is a bullshit reason for that choice. More to it than that.
December 17th, 2018 at 8:02 AM ^
Saban is going to the NFL. You heard it here first.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:27 PM ^
Wonder what Pruitt is telling these recruits. He's getting some top level talent along with filling the classes with lower rated recruits.
The cloudy ball for Zach Harrison is fully expected. I can't remember a more tight lipped recruit in the history of recruiting. Besides his family, I doubt anyone really knows which way he is leaning.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:30 PM ^
"When you stare long into the abyss of the SEC East, the abyss of the SEC East stares long into you"
That seems like the most realistic thing Pruitt could say, given Tennessee's recent standing.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:28 PM ^
Was Harrison ever not cloudy?
He wants to announce quietly on signing day
December 16th, 2018 at 8:39 PM ^
Wiltfong had Harrison CB'd to Michigan. Now he is not so sure. As the post implies.
It seemed like Michigan was the favorite before the OSU game happened. OSU fans were beginning to downplay harrisons talent in preparation that he was going Blue
December 16th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
This is true, Zach doesn’t talk to any services, so any information is 2nd or 3rd hand. Even the flow of Michigan CB’s a few weeks ago was just a guess. He could go anywhere next week.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:28 PM ^
As each day passes it just seems more and more of a given that Zach Harrison doesn't end up at Michigan. Just a gut feeling.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:28 PM ^
Very informative post
December 16th, 2018 at 8:33 PM ^
All we had to do was beat OSU and Dax and Harrison would've been locks with Crouch seriously considering us as well. Mutherfucker
December 16th, 2018 at 8:34 PM ^
i dont even think michigan had to beat OSU. Just not get beaten like a red headed step child.
December 17th, 2018 at 12:35 AM ^
In this PC world which I am not a fan of, this expression which makes light of child abuse toward red headed step children is disgusting. Have you ever considered the meaning of the words you’re using? Hopefully you’re just not thinking as the alternative is unthinkable.

Shut up Francis
December 17th, 2018 at 8:06 AM ^
Psssssst: "Kill the Ump!" does not mean you intend to actually kill him.
"Jailsexed" does not actually mean . . . you know.
Sometimes things are just expressions, not statements to be taken literally.
Too much is too much.
December 17th, 2018 at 12:45 PM ^
We found Andy Dalton's account.
December 16th, 2018 at 11:38 PM ^
I still wonder if Michigan was worn down from the tough schedule. Michigan had the 3rd toughest schedule going into the season, Ohio St the 87th. I wonder if that difference showed in how the teams looked in the last game or the year?
But yeah, I agree, Mutherfucker.
December 16th, 2018 at 11:42 PM ^
I would echo your comment about being worn down.
We saw it at the IU game, and Harbaugh also had commented prior to the bye week that guys had a chance to heal.
Our guys earned every one of their victories this year.
December 16th, 2018 at 11:55 PM ^
It sure seemed they put a lot into the Wisconsin, Penn St, and Michigan St games. Maybe they put their best into those games, and were spent.
And yeah, they looked flat against Indiana.
You know, the schedule is even tougher next year. They still have those same tough games, but have Iowa added to it.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
Tennessee has and will always be a gold mine of a program. Huge stadium, money, fan base, crazy boosters, excellent facilities. Etc:
December 16th, 2018 at 8:48 PM ^
How does that differ from Michigan?
December 16th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
Warmer weather, prettier girls, more Waffle Houses
December 16th, 2018 at 11:47 PM ^
Michigan probably has better of all of those things, especially facilities. And more money.
December 17th, 2018 at 8:09 AM ^
Where's the Waffle House column?
December 16th, 2018 at 8:56 PM ^
“Crazy boosters” is the biggest clause. They are close to landing 3 5-stars (Morris, Wright, Crouch) who are not from the state. Their 5-7 first year head coach with no previous head coaching record has suddenly inspired elite talent to shun Bama, Clemson, OSU, UGA and UM.
Nothing shady here. Just ignore the billows of smoke.
December 17th, 2018 at 8:10 AM ^
Sounds like the Ole Miss Bagman has transferred to Tennessee.
December 17th, 2018 at 9:53 AM ^
Yeah but its warm there so who cares. Winning is only so important when its michigan fans talking about michigan recruits. There are other things that matter to recruits but when they choose other schools over michigan its the (weather, girls, facilities, location, conference) excuse.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:57 PM ^
I wonder where their fans are at in the stages of BPONE. They last won 10 games 12 seasons ago and have only made 5 bowls in the meantime. They are actually under .500 in that span, which is worse than the RichRod/Hoke years.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:39 PM ^
tn pays well
December 16th, 2018 at 9:30 PM ^
Probably #1 in the SEC now that Georgia can show some on field success.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:58 PM ^
Tennessee gave Crouch a big bag of cash, there’s no other explanation for them beating out Clemson
December 16th, 2018 at 9:29 PM ^
Clemson pays out too. Would be nice to know the amounts.
December 16th, 2018 at 8:58 PM ^
I mean if these guys don't want to come to Michigan, then they shouldn't come to Michigan. I want players to be 100% bought in and looking out for one another.
If a player doesn't want to play here because of one bad game, they should go somewhere else. We will be fine and I have faith in Coach to get the job done and help raise these kids into upstanding young men, with plenty of 10-win seasons and NFL draft picks as icing on the cake.
December 16th, 2018 at 9:40 PM ^
I'd settle for 100% bought in or 100% bought. Just get the best players here so long as what it takes is ethical. Don't really care if it skirts ncaa rules or not. Screw the ncaa.
December 16th, 2018 at 9:01 PM ^
Tennesse shouldn’t be a surprise. Crouch is from South Carolina and has made his distaste for cold weather very clear. Anybody who thought that it wasn’t a long shot to get him to a school this far north of the Mason-Dixon line was fooling themselves. Tennessee is far closer and generally much warmer.
December 17th, 2018 at 7:24 AM ^
The surprise would be picking Tenn over Clemson.
December 16th, 2018 at 9:03 PM ^
If Zack Harrison ever read an OSU board, bout how bad the staff and posters talk about him,(based on the thoughts about Zack going blue) he would tell them to F off
December 16th, 2018 at 11:30 PM ^
When the Harrison CBs were going heavy to Michigan I clicked on a 247 article that was written for OSU fans. They were trashing Harrison and saying they didn’t want or need him. You know those same truck drivers are doing the cabbage patch in their trailers right now between hits of meth.
December 17th, 2018 at 12:41 AM ^
Truck drivers are hard working Americans thst provide a great service to us. Stereotyping them all as meth heads is not elitist at all. I’ll bet you would be the first to virtue signal about diversity and inclusiveness though huh.
December 17th, 2018 at 12:57 AM ^
Lighten up, he didn’t say all truck drivers were bad....just the ones who root for OSU!
December 17th, 2018 at 8:13 AM ^
"Kill the Ump!"
December 16th, 2018 at 9:16 PM ^
I was sick of the bag of cash line but after seeing what went down in college basketball, I think that is probably accurate. UT coming out of nowhere landing these monster kids late. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.
December 17th, 2018 at 10:07 AM ^
I get that the line gets old about the cash but there is just too much going on to think that a school that is a perpetual low to middle of the pack finisher in the “toughest conference in college football”. Yet at michigan a 10-2 season where they were a college football playoff team up until a loss to a rival who is just as good. Yet one loss to a rival unravels all the recruits interest and somehow pushes even more guys into the arms of the teams that cant beat Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Kentucky, LSU, or Vanderbilt on a consistent basis.
