Again... Not an exciting matchup but let's beat the the Gators. Go Blue!

Saw that. So they think it's better to put 2 teams that have played one another some what frequently in a bowl game vs send ucf back to the same bowl they played in but this time against a different team. #pickingfromseatofpants

Ugh, c'mon there are better matchups. Dumb cfp.

That is a load.  Would way rather play a team would has to travel as much as Michigan, or nearly as much as Michigan.  LSU in the Fiesta would have been the right call.  Semi home game for the Gators from Gainesville.  Giving Florida the right to play for state championship vs UCF would have been right move too.

How many people just watched the bowl announcement and heard all of those TV guys clowning our offense?

So to the people in our fan base who keep defending our offense. I really hope you were listening. We have to change some things.

I hope Harbaugh was watching and felt disrespected by those comments.

Why are people in charge the biggest idiots? This makes 0 fucking sense. LSU bs Michigan would be a ratings bonanza. Also, how good would UF/UCF be? So stupid.

Hey, lets just whip an SEC team and look forward to next year.  No sense in complaining about what we can't change.  Let's support the team, not their fault...

I'm fine with this. A very good team, strong D, on-and-off offense, coached by a guy who beat us 52-14 (2011 Bowl game).

I'm tired of having losses the last two years in bowl games - we need to get a W then get back to 2019 Focus - the schedule next year works in our favor.

Idiots in charge of things for no reason. LSU v Michigan in the Fiesta and UCF v Florida in the Peach would be wayyy more appealing for all teams involved.

No-win situation for Michigan. Beat Florida yet again, “that’s not a big win.” Lose to Florida, “lol Michigan can never win a big game!”

The football Gods are telling us that we'll never again play a bowl out West and are stuck in the purgatory of playing Southeastern teams in the Southeast until we beat OSU.

In 4 seasons under Harbaugh, we have our second NYD6-quality bowl.

In the previous 8, we only appeared in one. I’m not over the moon over playing Florida again, but this is still ultimately a good thing.

I'm probably a minority, but if we keep finishing in the the top ten, like we did this year, by definition we have a consistent top ten program, and that is ok with me. If I had to choose between a universal opinion of our program as top ten every year, or winning a championship once but not maintaining that, I'd choose not to win a championship.

Eh it's factually the same but let's be real. The Peach Bowl doesn't have much for a history. From reading the Wiki page it looks like it never had a top ten matchup until 2005 and never did again until the playoff. Traditionally about as prestigious as the Citrus or Holiday bowls. When you compare that to some of the absolute classics in college football history that have happened at the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Cotton, and Orange Bowls you definitely get the feeling that it's an afterthought in comparison. And when it's not hosting the playoff it still tends to get the worst matchup. It's hosted the g5 at large bid twice already in five years. Even still, the primary complaint from me is our opponent. The Bowl being the most forgettable of them all just adds insult to injury.

Now we know why Gene Smith was smiling so much.  Florida gets a revenge game.  On the plus side, we recruit well out of Florida.  Win the game.  Go Blue !

This is so fucking lame, have us play LSU in the Fiesta Bowl whom we haven't played and out of the SEC region FFS.

Send CFU to play Fla in an all Florida shit bowl, fuck you CFP committee!!!

Maybe I’m just Salty and still pisses but what a let down in only a week.

No Big10 Championship

No Rose Bowl

No College Football Playoff

No Fiesta Bowl

No LSU

YES - Florida again and a Peach Bowl Bid.

Wow I can’t believe the committee wouldn’t send us to the fiesta vs LSU and let the Florida schools battle. That UCF and LSU game w be empty in Arizona. I will get over it but damn I’m feeling sick in less then a week.

well, at least it's not three times in one year, like what happened with UCLA back in the day...although that time, we got to go to Pasadena for the rubber match

Just another example of how Michigan does not have any voices in or around that room that matter. Bama Georgia etc always basically get a home game in Atlanta or Texas or Florida. Kinda pisses me off the more I think of it.

If they wanted a bowl with the least amount of interest from the Michigan fanbase, they got it.

From our vantage, Florida is a yawner since we’ve beaten them soundly twice in the last three seasons. Florida may have an entirely different view. One game Revenge Tour for them.
