McSorely is their only real weapon.  Sanders is a good back, but I don't think he can make anything on his own if the OL isn't making that first hole.  And the WR's don't scare me.  I just don't see PSU staying competitive - the game should have some garbage time in it...

That’s what I’m thinking re: LSU and Bama. Even if Bama loses and they don’t go to the SEC title game, the committee may still put them in because they’re Bama, and because of historical bias after their last ten years of dominance. There’s already the precedent for putting them in after last year, and they went out and won it all. Saban would publicly come out and dare the committee to leave them out. The committee could very well cave and put them back in at Michigan’s expense.

Ideally, what we want next week is for Bama to win, which would knock LSU out of the race completely, and then ND to lose to NW. That opens us up to get out of the four slot against Bama and, if we were to make the playoff, have a (relatively speaking) more manageable first matchup against Clemson.

It might help if we could get some style points, we may need to blow some teams out the next few weeks by throwing up55 like Clemson did today, they  know their weak schedule will be examined so they're trying to run it up. Obviously it doesn't matter if they don't have a loss but they squeaked by Syracuse and might have a tight game in the next few weeks as well.

Well, don't look now...

UT has the last two scores and its now 31-28, with 12 minutes left.  Is it just me, or do these teams that look like ass, also look similar to Michigan?  I mean, I know M's offense is still a bit janky, but these asshats can't spell 'tackle', or 'cover'...

Yeah, my statement read totally different from what I was trying to say!  I meant to ask if Michigan looks similar because the national media has us sharing the Top 10 with UT, UF, etc...  And they don't look anything like Michigan!

I'm pretty certain that Michigan would throw both of these teams (UT and Okie St) into the dirty laundry bin and not look back.

Not that I want it to happen, but USC should throw $6+ mil/yr at Mike Leach. With the QBs and playmakers Leach would have at his disposal, he’d only need a halfway decent D to compete for PAC titles and CFP berths (annually).

12 teams left in contention for the playoff, I think.

SEC: Alabama*, LSU*, Georgia*, Kentucky*

ACC: Clemson*

PAC-12: Washington State

Big 12: Oklahoma, West Virginia

Big 10: Michigan*, Ohio State

Independent: Notre Dame*

AAC: UCF

*s indicate they control their own playoff destiny, I think.
