So, serious question:

When Browns fans (an elite club of sorts to which I belong) booed him, he and a lot of UM fans speculated that the main cause of the criticism lobbed his way (which bounced off his facemask) was his college selection and allegiance.  At what point can it be acknowledged that we didn't like him because he was/is an arrogant loudmouth who couldn't/can't catch?

First one after RR when he got hired. Happy with Hoke cause he was a Carr guy. Harbaugh is a Bo guy.  I have never seen former players split like this. You would think they all want the best for the team. I  guess in some cases it is not the team, the team, the team.

Braylon is an ego maniac. Needs to stfu and get on with his life. Ripping on underperforming teenagers does nothing but make him look like an even bigger douche than he already is which seems impossible.

Get the duck on with your life Braylon and do something positive for a change.

Fucking dumbass. Good thing you were good at catching a ball because you aren’t good at anything else.

i was disappointed with his comments. But he has a point though. Just see how our red zone offense was last season and this game. Soft... In JH's first two years, when we get to opponent's 5 yard to the end zone. We would line up our FB and HB, and run into the zone, with a lot of creative play call on the same set. Now suddenly, we abandon it since Pep joined the team. Instead the play caller whoever he is overthink himself and called a play action and didn't roll out our mobile QB, and led to a sack. To play ND, MSU, the best way is to pound the way in and crush their confidence. It's too soft not to do that. Bo, and Carr, even Hoke would do that in the first drive in red zone inside 5 yard line.

I won't call out player soft, but i do want to call out the offensive play caller soft in red zone.

Piling on Braylon like this is pointless, and heartless. He said something stupid. But the second part of the sentence shouldn't be "fuck him," but rather, "but I understand, and I hope he gets help." That's the Michigan difference. That's Leaders and Best.

It's very clear Braylon has a problem. We've seen that he's probably had a problem for a very long time. From his own admission, and reports from others around him, that problem was on very public display on Saturday night.

We have no idea what the people in Braylon's life have been doing to get him the help he very clearly needs. But I hope they're successful. I'm hoping a few years from now, if and when Braylon gets some help and clears his head a bit, that we see a contrite, mature, and unimpaired Braylon as a better ambassador of the university.

He has it in him, despite what the folks around here tend to think. I'm hoping for the best. And not condemning him at what very well could be his (very public) bottoming out.

The main issue was attacking the players individually. The program does need to step up. Who could argue with that? Don't whine about criticism, shut them up with your play. Stop being entitled.

I 100% agree with Braylon. He is being real. We are no better than Purdue or Iowa types of teams. We have a coach who can not coach. The whole program is garbage. I never thought I would hear myself say that. Michigan football was my favorite thing outside my family.

The former "goblueinohio" who was banned from this board has returned as "LimaBlue". You 100% agree with Braylon Edwards, Michigan football is "garbage" to you, and Harbaugh can't coach, eh LimaBlue? Then do yourself a favor and get another team and get off this site. braylondeadtomeimages.jpg

This is a classic example of his message being correct, but his method being terrible. Braylon needs to understand that people won't take him seriously if his method is to be an asshole.

trying to think of when i was interested in what braylon thought about anything ever, and....nope.

lloyd had him pegged.  braylon will always and forever want attention, first and foremost.

i don't remember his dad being like this, was he?

He shouldn't have called them out by name as he's a public figure in an analyst's capacity but the message is right on the money.  The offense was ridiculously predictable and yes Shea looked absolutely terrified at times.  The O-line which was supposedly taking things personally and were going to be improved this year simply wasn't.

The days of three yards and a cloud of dust are LONG over.  Don't resurrect them.

He stepped over the line attacking players individually the way he did.   Other than that, he was correct.   The guy just about single-handedly won the MSU game in '04 and while he was far from perfect, he is a great UM player.

4 straight losses.   This program kind of sucks right now.   Instead of getting angry with the guy who is dishing out reality we fans really need to take our medicine.

He's right.  We haven't beaten a team worth a damn on the road since 2006.  Every other big 10 team has.  We suck against rivals.  The team has no identity.  No clock management.  They are terrible....trash.
