Wasn't the Davis injury on an incomplete pass?

09/07/2018 - 2:09pm 27-17. I don't have much…

27-17. I don't have much faith in this team.

What speculation? It's a Harbaugh/Pep offense and a Don Brown defense.

I've always said 97 was the perfect year to be a UM football fan, because it gave us the chance to gloat at the ultimate level, but still allowed us to complain due to having to split the title. It doesn't get better for us. lol

09/04/2018 - 8:42pm Because we only play road…

Because we only play road games against ranked teams early in the season? Thanks a lot, Warde.

Brilliantly eloquent takedown. Bravo.

I wish they called it the "Bad Motherfucker spot."

"Listen, Jabril doesn't have a typical position, he's just a bad motherfucker so he fit the spot perfectly."

09/03/2018 - 10:46pm lol "...with that being said…

lol "...with that being said I still was right. They are trash."

Guy must be attempting to take Shannon Sharps spot on the Skip Bayless show.

09/03/2018 - 8:59pm I wouldn't necessarily say…

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Ed Oliver isn't in a power 5 conference and Gary, while he did have three less sacks and five less tackles for loss last year, he had 24 more total tackles than Nick Bosa even while playing one less game. And considering that OSU generally forced teams to air it out in an attempt to keep up wth the scoring, I would be willing to guess Bosa had more opportunities to rush the QB.

The 97 season was my favorite year of fandom. It gave us all the right to gloat, but still allowed us to complain. Truly the most perfect season for our fans lol.

09/02/2018 - 9:04am I don’t know about #5…

I don’t know about #5...Patterson looks physically weak. I don’t think he could with stand the hits that running quarterbacks take.

08/05/2018 - 8:49pm Please delete this thread…

Please delete this thread. It doesn't jive with our fans obsession that OSU/MSU get every call while we get screwed every game.

08/05/2018 - 8:47pm Oh look another OSU thread…

Oh look another OSU thread. I was hoping we could have at least one more.

08/03/2018 - 9:53pm What have they covered up?

What have they covered up?

07/28/2018 - 8:52pm We would have won if Peters…

We would have won if Peters didn't get hurt? Peters got hurt on a 3rd down pass that went incomplete, we punt the ball to Wisconsin and they promptly score to go up 21-10. What exactly have you seen from Peters that makes you think he would have led an 11 point comeback against an undefeated Wisconsin on the road?

07/26/2018 - 3:20pm A defensive coordinators…

A defensive coordinators scheme is more on the Jimmys and Joes than the Xs and Os. Every offensive coordinator knows exactly what the opposing defense likes to do, it's just a matter of whether they have the offensive players to beat it. Nothing more nothing less.

I don't subscribe to either option. He was dominant at MSU but incredibly immature, like many 18-25 year olds are.

07/23/2018 - 8:13pm Gary is gone for sure. I…

Gary is gone for sure. I would be willing to bet Patterson is not. QBs more often than not stay for a senior year. Unless the QB pool is weak next year, I would assume he stays.

I’m shocked that after he flipped you don’t think he’s actually that great. Lol right on que.

07/23/2018 - 7:58pm Sorry, but what industry…

Sorry, but what industry garners a lot of respect? College football blogging?

07/13/2018 - 1:27pm Instant gratification? It’s…

Instant gratification? It’s been what, 14 seasons since we won the conference.

Since then, MSU has won/shared the conference championship three times, PSU three times, Wisconsin three times, and OSU has won it seven times.

Kind of crazy actually that only four teams have won the conference in the past 14 years. The 14 years preceding that had nine different teams winning at least a share.

The gratification when we win the conference will be far from instant.

06/26/2018 - 11:27am These holier than thou posts…

These holier than thou posts always crack me up.

Have you ever bought a financial product from HSBC? Or better yet, who do you bank with?

Do you wear Nike products?

Have you ever had water from Nestle?

Are you a soccer fan? Have you heard of FIFA?

Do you think you’ve ever purchased or used a product made by Dow Chemical?

Have you ever purchased gas from Shell in your lifetime?

All of the companies I’ve mentioned have and/or are currently committing major human rights violations. And that’s only a drop in the bucket of companies we all probably support. But if some highly ranked athlete chooses to attend MSU, he has low morals or some decision making problem.

Give me a break.

lol that joke is beginning to lose meaning in this day and age.

05/29/2018 - 10:04pm I watched every game. This

I watched every game. This isn't mind blowing.

05/29/2018 - 4:23pm That's a fact. Hell if we

That's a fact. Hell if we beat ND I expect that we will jump to the top 4.

And today if a Big Ten team wins the conference with a record of 1 loss or less, they will make the playoff. And before everyone brings up Penn State in 2016, they had 2 losses.

05/29/2018 - 12:23pm Everyone says MSU

Everyone says MSU overachieved last year, but who exactly did they beat that they weren't supposed to? Penn State and us? We were entirely average, and Penn State was good but they weren't exactly world beaters. Penn State only beat Iowa by 2 and Nebraska by 8. Sure they beat up on non-confernece and Big Ten bottom feeders, but two close games to bad teams and two losses. They were probably closer talent wise to MSU than OSU (and I think there obviously was a big talent gap between MSU and OSU).

I don't know if MSU is a top 10 team, but I don't quite understand everyone saying they overachieved.

05/29/2018 - 12:11pm Not at all. And I don't mind

Not at all. And I don't mind people ranking Bill Russell in the top 3 of all time as he was as dominant in the 60s as say LeBron is today. My response was to the claim that Bill Russell would still be a great player today, playing against todays players, which is obviously a  ridiculous claim. Marcia then moronicly responded, which led to my youtube video and our back and forth.

You're right. Kevin Garnett/Shaq/Hakeem would have no shot if Bill Russell were guarding them. lol

05/27/2018 - 11:57pm Wait a second...
WD, the

Wait a second...

WD, the biggest Michigan sports fan ever, asks which game result would we choose to switch if possible...and of all the games Michigan has ever lost...Rose Bowls...crushing defeats to OSU...the freak games against MSU...

he chooses as his second pick to turn a VICTORY!!! against OSU, into a LOSS???

Has hell frozen over? Are you that beaten down by watching just about your entire life OSU beating us? Say it aint so, WD?!

05/27/2018 - 11:50pm He has never not made the NBA

He has never not made the NBA finals as a coach and he has won a title as coach. How can you reasonably say he "sucks?"

05/27/2018 - 11:47pm LOL Bill Russell today

LOL Bill Russell today wouldn't even make the league. Transport ANY player from the NBA today to the 1960s and they would be considered the best player ever by a country mile.

05/27/2018 - 1:12pm Have you ever been on this

Have you ever been on this site after a Michigan loss? The only reason we lose are due to officials.

05/27/2018 - 1:10pm Well, Jordan came back for

Well, Jordan came back for the 94-95 season and they didn't win the title or even make the finals, so claiming Jordan would have won 8 straight isn't based in reality and is a pointless, subjective argument anyways.

And Kobe over the entirety of his career had consistently the one of the worst "clutch" shooting percentages in the league.

When Jordan left the Bulls after the 93 title, Pippen led the Bulls to a 55-27 record the following year, only two games worse than the previous year. When LeBron left the Cavs to go to Miami, the Cavs finished with a 19-63 record after going 61-21 the previous year.

Your arguments are based on feelings rather than statistics and facts.

LeBron is easily a top 5 player all time. I truly don't understand why people like you attempt to argue that "he's trash."

05/27/2018 - 1:01pm Unless Westbrook changes his

Unless Westbrook changes his game he will never win a title and will continue to alienate talent. But hey, at least he can rack up meaningless faux rebounds and assist numbers.

05/23/2018 - 12:11pm "His (Lewerke's) only

"His (Lewerke's) only impressive games are the ones where he threw the ball a ton."

I'm having trouble determining if you meant this as an insult or compliment. If it's the former, how is that a knock on him?

05/22/2018 - 3:19pm Aren't all preseason rankings

Aren't all preseason rankings projections of where the voters think teams will end up at the end of the season?

05/04/2018 - 9:05am People get so upset over

People get so upset over inconsequential, filler, opinionated sports takes.

However, if I were to make a top 5 I would have:

1. Fromm

2. Tua

3. Ohio State QB

4a. Shea

4b. Lewerke

05/03/2018 - 9:51am I'll give you Smith, but

I'll give you Smith, but Harden, Durant, and Ron Dayne? Dayne rushed for 1,800 yards as a freshman and a senior. He never once averaged under 5 ypc. I don't think anyone considers him the best back in college football history, but he is certainly deserving of his legacy.

05/03/2018 - 9:39am Disagree. 3,000+ hits, 400+

Disagree. 3,000+ hits, 400+ home runs, two time MVP, rookie of the year...the guy was a great player for a long time.

05/03/2018 - 9:27am I think Jordan is in the top

I think Jordan is in the top 50 all time.

05/03/2018 - 9:24am That is...quite the list.

That is...quite the list.

15?! Honestly, name 14 better players in the history of the game.

05/02/2018 - 12:36pm As we are well aware, the

As we are well aware, the quarterback position is important. Connor Cook was the QB in 15, and he was pretty good. Some other guy was the QB in 16, and he was awful. Lewerke, in my opinion, looks pretty good. #5 seems high for them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they finished in the top 10.

04/26/2018 - 12:51pm Since when does knowledge of

Since when does knowledge of a situation stop us from ridiculing someone?

Yeah, like the lunatic fringe of our fanbase would admit such a thing. Thanks for the laugh.

04/24/2018 - 1:01pm One of these is not like the

One of these is not like the others as well. Can you guess who the coach is?

Kansas Jayhawks - Won national title

San Antonio Spurs

LA Clippers

Indiana Pacers

Philadelphia 76ers

Detroit Pistons - Won NBA title

New York Knicks

Charlotte Bobcats

Southern Methodist University

I wouldn't necessarily doubt Pitino to UDM.

04/24/2018 - 12:56pm The Catholic church covered

The Catholic church covered up child rape for 50+ years...but this is what draws your ire?
