It seems pretty clear the coaching staff thinks they can find better guys that fit the program. When Harbaugh wants a kid he goes at it pretty hard.
Did he also not want Logan Brown? Isaiah Wilson? Devery Hamilton? Nicholas Petit-Frere? Or is it more likely the guy just wasn't all that good at recruiting. Warinner seemed to want him which is why Michigan worked to recruit him and get back in it after Drevno left.

Spence Brown has visited Michigan twice in the last several months. He seems solid to MSU, but he keeps looking around and you have to think we have a shot. I think he'll visit us again in the Fall.
I've seen Logan Brown play live, he's half the athlete that Spencer Brown is and they're equal in size. Full court press to try to flip Spencer Brown, the kid runs like a LB and has a mean streak. His up side is an All American RT, could even end up playing LT, guy is a stud and he didn't camp much or he'd still be near a top 100 player IMO.
