Coolest/favorite Michigan thing you own?
I would say probably the coolest MIchigan thing I own is a tie between a program from the first game in Michigan against Ohio Wesleyan in 1927 and a piece of the All-Pro Turf that was in The Big House from 1982-1990.
What is the coolest or your favorite Michigan thing you own? Pics would be great.
end thread.
I got a sweet picture of him making that catch against Northwestern that he signed, and a panoramic picture of The First Night Game signed by Denard
I got the autographed Red Berenson jersey at the Coaches Tour last year.
I have a commemorative field coin that I got in Iraq of my deployment. The flip side of that is a huge block M. I also have a solid gold bottle opener with the M logo.
1. Practice used football signed by Hoke.
2. 1998 Rose Bowl Program signed by Carr
3. UTL jersey signed by Denard
Everything in these pics-
at least one of those "M"s is not acceptable
I kinda like the thin block M in the upper right. I wish they would brig that back for qbline of vintage apparel.
Is that a Pillow Pet in picture #1?
You need a girlfriend.
Her name is Ann Arbor.
I once saw a smaller print of the photo in the upper right corner of your second photo in the bar area of the Campus Inn. I have been trying to find it ever since. Can you tell me how you obtained it/where I might find a copy? Thanks!
The Tom Harmon one? A family member ordered it and had it framed from the Michigan Photo Store.
They got it from the Michigan Photo Store. I'm not sure if they still have it since they got in some kind of special deal with a frame in 2010. But I will say, that is the best place to get pictures of Michigan greats.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have previously tried doing a search through the UM Library/Photo archive service, and failed to locate it. I want to get one for my UM house mate who recently treated me to a seat at the B-ball final in Atlanta. Thanks, again!
Posted the same pic a while back; I was curious as to what is written next to his picture.
actually is a letter to Coach Crisler from Harmon, I think.
When it comes to singular thing that I love the most, probably my helmet I had signed by Mike Hart and Denard. Two all-time leading rushers at their positions-
Waited all day at a mall to get Denard to sign next to Mike Hart. He thought it was a really cool thing, getting that done. Whoever breaks their records in the future will sign as well.
I'm pretty sure at one point he said he has Asperger's, if that helps explain anything.
I was joking when I said that. Someone suggested it and I just said "yes".
...are my newest hero, and my wife's newest enemy.
to be young again. I found a pic of your shed as well:
is this from a beautiful mind ? lol
What do your parents do for a living?
with a room like that, who could say otherwise?
amazing space, envy you :3
In the fashion of a neighbor who taught me much about Michigan and its history growing up, I have over the years collected - via sending them in the mail or meeting players and coaches at events - dollar bills signed by various Michigan players and coaches.
Among some of the names who have signed bills (I started doing this in the 1990s) are Bo Schembechler, Gary Moeller, Tyrone Wheatley, Anthony Carter, Rick Leach, Jamie Morris and Jarrett Irons, among some others.
I don't really collect memorabilia. But I think my #EATING and Desmond "Strike-a-Pose" shirts are pretty cool. Plus I still have the old Tyrone Wheatley #6 Russell Athletic replica jersey that I bought 20 years ago during my freshman year at M--which I think is cool but most other people probably think needs to be replaced.
-Mini football helmet signed by 10-15 members of the 2010 team (Denard, JB Fitzgerald, Jonas Mouton, Perry Dorrestein, RichRod, etc.)
-Authentic Charles Woodson jersey
-Panoramic framed picture of 2011 UM-OSU game when everyone's storming the field.
Things like that are really underrated. Signage from stadiums.
On the 30 for 30 on Steinbrenner, when they tore down Yankee Stadium I, a sign pointing to the Men's pisser was auctioned for $5,000!
on butterfield. this information and his avatar mug shot get in the wrong hands, and it could be big trouble for a fellow mgoblogger. indeed, the NSA may already be tracking him...
