Interesting - Stanford Medicine shirt...

Even without Garnett I don't why we can't pull a decent RB with our future OL

You'd think ESPNU's Recruiting Nation would at least mention that their #44 player in the nation is deciding now. Nope...just Saban chatter.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:14 PM ^
Best of luck at Stanford.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:15 PM ^
he picks...
January 26th, 2012 at 6:16 PM ^
damn... stanford.. bummer
January 26th, 2012 at 6:16 PM ^
January 26th, 2012 at 6:17 PM ^
Stanford gets him. Good luck to the kid.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:17 PM ^
Bummer. Hope he's happy there. Stanford is a great school.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:18 PM ^
DAAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNNN!
0 for 1 right now. I'm realistically hoping we go 3/5 on these remaining recruits. At this point, that would ideally be getting Diamond, Reeves, and Kozan. I would obviously love to have Grant too.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:19 PM ^
Good luck to Garnett, he will do well at Stanford.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:28 PM ^
...and I wish him the best of luck. But first, I need a good ole fashioned James Vanderbeek type of crying session.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:21 PM ^
Blah, oh well you win some you lose some. Best of luck at Stanford, please don't anyone give this kid shit on the social media's.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:31 PM ^
The sad thing is some losers out there will
January 26th, 2012 at 6:34 PM ^
A douchebag said something like "Enjoy winning 7 games each year at a school made up of 4,000 Koreans." Nothing like incoherent racism.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:39 PM ^
That's awful.
Hopefully he doesn't read that.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:44 PM ^
Thought that was UCLA or UC Berkeley?
Best of luck to Josh. Seems like he definitely knows what he wants, and their two lineman projected to go in the top 15 in this year's draft shows that you can get a good education and a shot at the pros @ Stanford.

that didn't happen though.

January 26th, 2012 at 6:21 PM ^
Damn Caleb Stacy loss hurts even more because I just dont feel any confidence at all that Diamond is gonna commit plus he is a tackle prospect.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:22 PM ^
Good luck to him! He's a high quality guy from what I hear. Hope he does well unless we see him in the Rose Bowl (ha with no Andrew Luck I don't see that happening any time soon).
January 26th, 2012 at 6:23 PM ^
January 26th, 2012 at 6:23 PM ^
Oh well. Best of luck to Josh, he's a smart kid who will succeed in whatever he does.
But, right now, I could use a hug. Or a strong shot of something.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:23 PM ^
I feel like we have no recruiting momentum left
January 26th, 2012 at 6:30 PM ^
Same here I can easily see us closing the class out with nobody else and then I can see us landing the 3 big remaining targets.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:27 PM ^
Well that sucks
January 26th, 2012 at 6:28 PM ^
if we can grab diamond i won't be upset anymore. now, onto worrying about reeves.

Best of luck to him. It is a little odd that we were recruiting like mad when there were initially a bunch of question marks about Hoke and the team, but after winning a BCS game we don't have much mojo. It probably just looks that way due to the hot start for this class. Hopefully we still get some nice surprises.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:32 PM ^
boohoo. i feel like a school girl whos boyfriend just cheated on her with stanford. good luck josh. damn it damn it damn it!
January 26th, 2012 at 6:32 PM ^
He made the wrong decision, at least the decision I would not make. Us being the second choice does nothing for us but leave me bummed out. Time to move on. We have been on Diamonds radar for such a long time. Hope he goes Blue!
January 26th, 2012 at 6:37 PM ^
It wasn't your decision, so it can't be a wrong decision.
While we all wish he was coming to UM, going to a school like Stanford is a dream for countless kids applying to colleges out there. There is nothing wrong with him choosing it.
Good luck to Josh and his endeavors.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:38 PM ^
He made the decision that was best for him. He's not making a decision for you. It's an 18-year-old kid making his decision on where he's going to spend the next 4 years of his life. Have a little perspective.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:34 PM ^
Shame. Best of luck to him.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:34 PM ^
Garnett going to Standford. UGH!!!
January 26th, 2012 at 6:36 PM ^
Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Nooooooooo!
January 26th, 2012 at 6:39 PM ^
It's a good thing we started so strong, because we are doing nothing as of late. ZERO MO.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:42 PM ^
Is that we have more slots open for next year. And with Shane helping with the recruiting, we should be fine.
January 26th, 2012 at 6:43 PM ^
Oh no!!! It's the end of the world!!! we might as well close up shop!!

seemed like a great fit, but he made the best choice for him. This is part of the game, much better than not even being in on the top kids
