Marvin Robinson off the team?
Lots of rumblings from premium sites and some of my somewhat-legitimate sources in AA.
Looks like he has either left the team or been dismissed.
Dude was an impressive athlete, tis a shame we weren't able to keep him happy enough and/or put him in the right position to succeed.
Just remember, those who stay...

It looked like he had a lot of potential.

then good luck wherever you go. That being said, I can't help but to be uninspired by his career thus far. Sure he was young, but he never has really shown any flashes yet. Seemingly buried on the depth chart and with more safeties coming in.

anything till its set in stone

I call BS

Marvin is a member of the all hype team. Never did anything for the program. I hope this report is wrong.
October 8th, 2011 at 6:00 PM ^
He's only a sophomore. A little early to write him off, don't you think?
October 8th, 2011 at 6:00 PM ^
nothing for the program. Everybody has some purpose. It might not be playing in games, but you can bet he's still an important member of the scout/look teams in practice. That is important too.

You, on the other hand, were Webber's pimp. So, I guess you're, like, a Regent or something.

He was a recruit that we really wanted, and he lent some credence to RR's recruiting efforts when he came our way. It's disappointing that it didn't work out here, but hopefully he is really successful wherever he goes.

Actually, Marvin first fell in love with UM when he camped at UM as a freshman wunderkind while Carr was still the HC. UM just kept the lead they established before RR ever got to AA.

Omg shirtless =(

He's still on the roster listed on MGoBlue.com
October 8th, 2011 at 6:13 PM ^
is Thomas Gordon, not M-Rob.
October 8th, 2011 at 6:10 PM ^
You should have given everyone a heart attack by leaving "Marvin" out of the title.
October 8th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
Hey. Screw you, buddy.
October 8th, 2011 at 11:59 PM ^
I'm not your buddy, pal.

My shit would of turned purple and smelled like rainbow sherbert.

Marvin Robinson is NOT on the dress list for the N'western game tonight.
October 8th, 2011 at 6:57 PM ^
Probably has more to do with travel squad than on or not on team. At least re: the tweets.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:01 AM ^
This annarbor.com article from just before game time includes Marvin Robinson among six "notable" players left off the travel squad. The other five mentioned were Ricky Barnum, Brandon Herron, Justice Hayes, Michael Cox, and Seth Broekhuizen.

Someone on another board said he has mono. Guess we'll find out this week
October 8th, 2011 at 8:00 PM ^
in HS? I thought I remembered that. If so, I can't believe he would leave after 1.5 years on the team.
October 8th, 2011 at 10:04 PM ^
Probably best to take a wait and see approach here.
October 8th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
Still listed on the roster page, so I am not going to believe anything until that changes.
October 8th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
I want to see him lay some poor spartan out.
October 8th, 2011 at 11:01 PM ^
Double post...
October 8th, 2011 at 11:22 PM ^
Marvin, play hard and study hard! Hard work this season may pay off in your final two seasons!
October 8th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
IIRC, he played against Minnesota last week, so probably not off the team. Still, these rumors have a history of hitting too close to home. Let's hope that it's not true.
October 8th, 2011 at 11:49 PM ^
Didn't someone mention prison abs during the game tonight?
October 8th, 2011 at 11:52 PM ^
That's Thomas Gordon.

worked very hard at recruiting others to Michigan. His family moved to A2 for his senior year of high school. He's already done more for Michigan football than most of us ever could. Give him some respect maybe the rumors will prove to be wrong.

That was Ricardo Miller
