They're pretty simple looking, but I tend to find beauty in simplicity. The Jaguars helmets, on the other hand, look like there was a mishap on the painting line. Like a 4th grader discovered the gradient tool in Photoshop. |

Alabama has put together their dominant run based on elite defensive players and elite offensive linemen. M doesn't quite have the haul of elite defensive players but look like they're becoming quite the magnet for elite talent. Can't say enough about how great this staff is at recruiting, especially trying to pull guys into a struggling B1G |

but he does have a tremndous amount of pressure on him to perform year in, year out. At least Sa(t)an gets 3 years to mold and shape a kid at Alabama, Calipari gets one. has been a factor of being absent a QB who can make "all the throws" since 2007. OU had Bradford/Jones, OkSU with Weeden, USC with Barkley et al. Plus those offenses then shifted their priority to pass with a plus passer. UM coaches need to sell that that era is coming upon us soon with better arms and play action going to be an actual threat. |

I do not like Vitale. I think his appeal stems from the different appraoch to announcing he made when ESPN was coming to form, similar to Chris Berman. Reminds me of the Dennis Leary MTV commercials that afterward had marketing people going "we want to take an 'In you face' approach" that became popular. However, the appeal of Vitale peaked over a decade ago and now is to the level of that frying pan with some leftover butter you forgot you left the burner underneath it on for too long and is now a burnt, greasy unedible mess that is going to stick for a long time or until you throw away the pan. |

but Spike looks to have a nice Adj. PPS (2P). If he can be one splitting minutes with Derrick next year and hover around that rate we should be in good shape. We should still have GRIII, Morgan, Mitch, and Stauskas so there will be plenty of rebounding/point generating power to pick up the misses. I'm excited about the other incoming freshman as well. |

how you look at UM with a 5* QB currently here and another 5* coming in along with 6 4-5* guys on the line to protect them and not want to play WR here. Especially since Borges has stated he wants to institue a big passing game and not much other competition to start day 1. |
