WTKA Roundtable 3/4/2021: That's Just Rational Talk

- MSU: they’re going to throw four centers at Dickinson and dare the refs to foul out the whole team. Credit to Tom Izzo for knowing his team can’t win if they play basketball.
- State’s gotten some thruck from its opponents as well.

- Did Illinois expose something? Seth: if you can single Hunter Dickinson and deny the middle Michigan can’t get into their offense, but who else can single Hunter and out-athlete Michigan outside?
- Keep MSU out of the tournament!
- Hockey: snakebit. Hit ALL the posts.
- Football: the Quarterback Situation, been watching film on Allen Bowman and Seth likey, Sam notes he’s been injured. Allen likes to release the dragon, going to be interesting when he sees Michigan’s fast receivers get a step because he loves to chuck it downfield at the least prevarication. Is it just me, or does it sound like every fifth word is being dropped? Really hard to listen to.
Only Ira's feed is is uninterrupted because he's in studio. I think because the other guys are on Zoom. It's unlistenable as it is.
Something is wrong with the MGo version of the podcast. The WTKA version sounds much better. I knew something was wrong when I saw the length was under 40 minutes
I tried both and the WTKA version has lots of problems as well.
It's the MGo feed, yea it sounds like the speech is sped up and getting cut off. Brian is saying sentences where the stats are being missed. The WTKA sounds smooth and fluid. Not the first time I've noticed though either....
I didn't record this one. My computer crashed as soon as we started.
Alan Bowman was pretty bad overall at texas tech and his other offers were from AAC schools. Weird overselling of this guy. This wasn't some major coup.
Hey Seth, unless Bowman is prone to little white lies I think you meant provocation, not prevarication.

Wait until he gets the Schembechler-channeling speech from Harbaugh about protecting the ball at all costs. He'll be afraid to thrown downfield more than a few yards.

UM fans haven't been excited for Bowman because the football team hype has cried wolf way too many times.
Amen to this take. I'd like just once a QB to be added to the roster and one of these guys say, "yeah, he's probably just a guy for depth" or something to that effect. Not everyone is the next great UM QB.
That being said, he's better than Milton. I still think JJ is the guy we all want to start next season. Anybody else isn't a great sign.
