Played against Kevin Grady

Played against Kevin Grady and tried the patented CB dive at the ankles only to get completely smashed backwards.  I played with MSU FB Andrew Hawken and against MSU QB Keith Nichol and also CMU WR Bryan Anderson.  I also played against unkown o-lineman Jared Veldheer from HIllsdale who was drafted in the third round this year.

Im looking to buy a used car,

Im looking to buy a used car, so a great deal on a 2008 Cadillac CTS would be awesome!

Chappelle Show reference?

Chappelle Show reference?  Nnnnnnnice

What firm?

I actually just finished my MS in Acc at MSU and will be starting with a firm in Detroit.  I agree with ypsituckyboy as well, a degree in accounting and getting your CPA can open up so many windows.  I have been really happy with my choice to be a CPA, I have had many opportunities for employment where as alot of my freinds who are good students in finance, supply chain, etc are really struggling to get jobs...

Looks like you beat me to

Looks like you beat me to it!  I've heard this rumor for a while now, numerous times....

Reason for Transfer

This may sound farfetched, but if you read the mlive article Izzo's comment may bring truth to these rumors.  Izzo talks about how during the season “it made him feel awful”

The rumor is that, when Allen was suspended for one game earlier in the season (I believe the big ten tourney) it was due to a fight between Chris Allen and Durrell Summers.  Apparently, Allen had been sleeping with Durrell's girlfriend and got her pregnant.  I have a lot of friends at MSU who said they have been hearing this for about a month now.  Take it for what its worth...

I have been going there for I have been going there for two years now. It is AWESOME. The hot towel combined with the straight razor on your neck is sweet. Not to mention all the tv's.
Might not be the best Might not be the best weather, but I'm heading to Charleston, SC to visit a friend that goes to College of Charleston. Hope to get some golf in while checking out the town (hear it's pretty cool/unique).
Oh, and by the way, he is Oh, and by the way, he is expecting to run around a 4.9 40. At his height and weight, that is pretty much insane!
I actually played AAU I actually played AAU basketball with this kid. He went to several D-1 football camps over his high school years but was never offered by anyone major because of his drive and personality. He was a very nice kid but didn't have that mean streak that o-linemen need, he was very soft coming out of high school and was not focused on earning a D-1 scholarship. Like magnus said, he is extremely lean and can add on a decent amount of weight. Scouts have consistently been at Hillsdale practices watching him for the past two years...
I'm going with the hard Hard liquor tonight... Might sound like a weird combo but I am going with a few SoCo and Sunkist mixed drinks, try it before you knock it.
Just saw that rivals listed Just saw that rivals listed him as a four star, very impressive offers! Welcome to the family!
What a treat for some of What a treat for some of those players who don't know much about Ufer. That man gets me more excited than any person in the world about Michigan football! Wish I could have grown up listening to him.
What a great feeling, to What a great feeling, to actually be looking forward to ANOTHER successful Michigan B-ball season. I am so pumped to see what this team can do and to see how Beilein continues to develop these guys. It will be fun to see how guys like Darius Morris, Matt Vogrich, Cronin, and LLP can help this team out. Can't wait for the season to start!
There have been many times There have been many times where I thought we could easily lock up some high profile recruits because of our lack of depth and the instant chance for those recruits to start. But, it doesn't always seem to work out like that. Take for example our D-Line recruiting right now or our safety/corner recruiting. It just doesn't always seem to come down to playing time, although that would make the most sense...
Pretty plain here but I love Pretty plain here but I love starting off with some Beefeater Gin and Tonic and then just regular ol' Miller Lite...
"God damnit, your the dumbest "God damnit, your the dumbest smart kid I know!"
No kidding, that gets old No kidding, that gets old real quick. Or when they say "On Sunday's that wouldn't have been a touchdown." Who cares? We're watching COLLEGE football...
I get sick of hearing the I get sick of hearing the "big uglies up front" followed by a real chummy laugh and some stupid joke. I don't mind them using the phrase every once in a while, but guys like Ray Bentley think they have to say it three times a game and it annoys the hell outta me.
It's hard to critique the run It's hard to critique the run game too much, other than this last week at MSU, but I've been disappointed that we haven't seen more of Shaw. Getting him 5-7 carries a game seems ideal. Maybe we'll see some more of him this week with Carlos possibly being nicked up...
Sounds great! Hard to Sounds great! Hard to believe we're already talking about 2011 commits, but I like the good news!
My bad, lame attempt at humor My bad, lame attempt at humor
Phone number please... Phone number please... EDIT: bad joke I know, but it aint everyday you find a girl who likes to participate in Michigan Football blogs
I can't believe how many I can't believe how many chances we've had! Its a great game though. One more inning rodney!
Miggy says EAT SHIT all ye Miggy says EAT SHIT all ye who doubted me haha
Yea, the overweight thing is Yea, the overweight thing is kind of concerning, I haven't heard that before? I was really looking forward to seeing how Gallon did this Fall after everyone jumped on the bandwagon following his AA peformance.
The have a few big screens They have a few big screens but there are tons of smaller plasma screens by every booth/table now
A great place to watch the A great place to watch the game in EL is B-Dub's but if your looking for something out of the ordinary try Harper's or Reno's. B-dubs and Harper's are located right by grand river in downtown East Lansing and Reno's is about a mile north of campus on Abbot. Lou and Harry's is an option as well but it is small and gets pretty packed... Let me know if you want any other ideas/details
How could the lions cut him? How could the lions cut him? Mel Kiper said he is a superb blocker?!?!?!?
Hey Maize, usually around the Hey Maize, usually around the north and south sides of the stadium you will find the regular scaplers. I have never tried to buy one from them so I couldn't tell ya the going rate, or if the prices drop significantly after kickoff, etc... But every time I go into game I always notice them, so there out there! Also if you are brave enough to sit in the state student section (don't know how old you are) you can buy tickets from MSU students on allmsu.com. Good luck!
I agree with you 100%. If I agree with you 100%. If Verlander and Porcello can't do it we're in a little bit of trouble. Pavano has dominated us (then again which mediocre pitcher hasn't it) and who knows what to expect from Bonine and Nate? Exciting couple of days for sure, we've been great at home this year. GO TIGERS!!!
Haha I can't help but listen Haha I can't help but listen to the show. He really pisses me off and gets me fired up, but he'll have me ROFLMAO when he goes nuts on someone or freaks out about MSU.
Should be fun to see how Should be fun to see how Henne does. IIRC he gave up a pick six yesterday? Haven't heard how the rest of the game went for him? Hopefully Henne and Long can lead the 'fins to some wins!
+1 for the avatar, that quote +1 for the avatar, that quote always makes me laugh
Wow, that is really cool! Wow, that is really cool! It's nice for coach Rod to be able to see something like that after so much criticism.
Being from Grand Rapids I Being from Grand Rapids I have never really been to the Detroit area for anything other than Tigers and Lions games. I hear that Royal Oak is a pretty fun place to live if you are a recent grad; any of you guys back that up? Any other areas you would recommend right outside Detroit?
Hey, I feel ya on the staying Hey, I feel ya on the staying in Detroit topic. I am a recent grad and am now pursuing my master's degree in accounting. I chose to sign with a CPA firm in Detroit while literally every single one of my good friends in accounting has chosen somewhere "cool" like Chicago, NY, etc... It's kind of depressing but I am glad to be in Detroit! I hope it pays off in the long run.
Him and Kevin are really Him and Kevin are really great guys. I grew up around the same area as them and had the chance to play them in basketball and football a few times. Their dad is somewhat psycho and controlling but he has raised them to be quality young men.
I just shed a tear! What a I just shed a tear! What a great day!!!!!!! + 100
Best day in a long time! Best day in a long time! FUCK.SHIT.UP Michigan! I think I just fell in love with Tate!!!!!!!!!
That is bullshit man, why That is bullshit man, why don't you see if Mike Martin will go over there and handle business for ya? He will FUCK.SHIT.UP for you, just sayin...
+1 hahaha +1 hahaha
I'd have to put
"Fuck"
I'd have to put "Fuck" "Lion" in honor of one of our dumbest players ever...
I like it, like you said a I like it, like you said a little more professional (scout needs to step its game up). I like the little addition on the side that shows similar current recruits and a "player he reminds us of" kind of what Brian does.
No kidden man, I wonder what No kidden man, I wonder what the hell is going through his mind? He has got to be extremely pissed. I really haven't heard his name mentioned at all?!?!
I get your point... I was a I get your point... I was a fan of Watson and Branch also, and of course, they were tremendous players. I was just saying that those guys seemed to carry a lot of extra "baby fat" on them and weren't the best conditioned athletes. I for one hope Campbell can develop to be just as good as those two talent wise, just nice to see his conditioning is coming along as well.
It's funny to hear people say It's funny to hear people say "Will Campbell has a long way to go." I totally agree with this statement, but it seems like back in the Lloyd era we wouldn't have been talking half as much about his weight and physical progress. It is great to see Barwis transforming Campbell into a stud rather than another sloppy looking DT ala Watson or Branch.
Great post! I agree with you Great post! I agree with you for the most part. It is nice to have a game-breaker at QB on our team! I will be happy with either Tate or Denard as the starting QB, whoever Rich decides to go with. There is something to say about Denard's ability to break a big run at any given moment, but that factor alone won't trump Forcier's passing ability/fundamentals. I hope Denard continues to progress with his throwing mechanics and I am excited to see how good of a "manager" Tate can be. It is great to know that we may possibly be solid at QB for the next 5-6 yrs with these two and Devin coming in!!!!
Do the Tigers always make Do the Tigers always make mediocre pitchers look like all-stars, or is it just me?
That is the first time I That is the first time I remember hearing/seeing Jeremy Gallon in any of the videos. I don't remember hearing his name on the blog since practice has started... Is he still looking at some playing time as a true freshmen? I am really excited about all the viable options at slot this year, those little guys are like lightning in a bottle!
