Tate's jumping touchdown made ESPN's top 10
I checked the forum page before this and this wasn't posted.
Tate's jumping touchdown in the fourth quarter made the 6th best play on ESPN. We had some horrible plays that game, but that wasn't one of them and I'm very happy for the win.
Enjoy.

He has a knack for making plays.
Tate seems to be a great kid and a great story. If things continue this way expect a big ESPN lovefest and the national backlash that comes with it.
We haven't had that since Woodson, and I'm looking forward to the hate.

Considering that in 3 of the past 4 weeks, ESPN's top 10 plays included Michigan plays, I would think the lovefest has already begun (began? i think begun).

I hear you, but when you see him on the promos doing something heroic at the ESPN office in Bristol, that's what I'm talking about.
This team has made big plays and has highlight worthy offensive players. It's amazing how exciting this brand of football can be.
Winning is the most exciting thing, the way we win adds to the fun.
What I can't wait to see is our "D" making top 10 plays.
The positive national attention is good for the program.
This is not just Michigan arrogance -- but college football is better when Michigan is Michigan.

Tate is a winner...plain and simple. He does what it takes to win. As my MSU buddies say, MSU fans are going to hate him for 4 years.

From this link, it made ESPN's web only Top 10 Sat college football plays. Not to poop on the party too much but I don't think it made the Sportscenter Top 10 did it?
Regardless, (in spite of Drew Sharp's well reasoned argument to the contrary) I love that we have a QB that is willing to go that hard for the endzone.

It was on the 9am Live Sportscenter Top 10 at number 6.

I like the 2 point conversion better. When the guy caught him outside the endzone and then was pushed in. More suspense. That was one hell of a TD dive though. Didn't know he could get up that high.

+1 for the avatar, that quote always makes me laugh

Apparently white men CAN jump.

you know, if Tate is really the new white jesus, he'll switch it up and throw left handed for 250 and a couple of TD's next weekend... I mean, come on, right?

He will once again use his Jedi powers and will the ball into his reciever's hands. Tate's hands are only necessary in maintaining the illusion that he is only human.

Right after that play, I turned to my wife and said, "Win, lose, or draw, Tate just made ESPN's highlight reel."

he should leave the Ringling Bros. show to others. We need him healthy. Stunts like that are a quick way to the ER. I know you gotta do what you gotta do to win but...im just say'in...

There is a very similar play on Tates HS highlight reel:

I suppose it won't be long before he gets the obvious "Air Forcier" nickname.
