I don't really have the money to go anywhere exotic at the moment. But after this past week full of midterms, late studying, and pretty much no sleep, a week at home with very little to do sounds very appealing. Looking forward to seeing my dog again too.

I'll be going to Guatemala with a group from UM to build a school in a remote peasant village. Can't wait!

To visit the folks with the kids. We'll then go to Sandusky to spend a couple of days at Kalahari an indoor waterpark. Then we'll just hang out with the rest of my family at Mom and dad's. Wait til you're in your forties you'll see what I mean.

of banana hammocks on the rotund British men and the unfortunate toplessness of the women whose bosoms have lost a battle with physics.
But the all-inclusive drinking is awesome.

Might not be the best weather, but I'm heading to Charleston, SC to visit a friend that goes to College of Charleston. Hope to get some golf in while checking out the town (hear it's pretty cool/unique).

Since I haven't been a student in a few years, I will be either in my office, doing rounds or on call most of the week. Sometimes being an adult really sucks!

Spring break for us UM employees means that we get to do all the projects that we can't do while students are here...unfortunately that means more work usually. Sigh

Spring break has a whole new meaning now.
This year, we are taking a family trip down to Norfolk/Virginia Beach. The weather should be reasonable by the first week of April. Never been there but we have found that there are quite a few things to do for families.
We didn't necessarily pick Virginia Beach out of the blue. My father was stationed in Norfolk in the Navy and, to my horror, I have learned that it is the locale of my conception. I guess you can say that a part of me has a connection to the area. I've always wanted to get over to check it out.
