This really does help ease my fears to a great extent. We CAN get top-quality defensive guys here. I realize my fears were unfounded, but the last couple of years have wrought havoc on my mental state.

I am loving this recruiting class. Quality teams are built in the trenches and RichRod and staff are doing just that. Next fall we'll have at least eight quality offensive linemen with three years of remaining eligibility or more. On defense, we have a chance to add Talbott, Ash and (hopefully) Hankins at DT along with Wilkins, Paskorz and (presumably) Murphy at DE. That deep and talented group only has to back up a bunch of 3-4 year starters in Van Bergen, Martin, Campbell and Roh (who should start as a group for the next two years).

Things are looking up.

Richard Ash welcome to Michigan. Your friends and family must be very proud and excited for you. As a Michigan Fan, I'm very happy that you selected Michigan, our defense needs your help. Must be wild knowing that your going to play in front of 100,000 fans and millions watching you on TV. Again, welcome Mr. Ash-Go Blue!

Michigans D-Line is really starting to look nice for the next couple years with this pick up, now we just need better play form the linebackers and secondary and our D will be one of the best in the big 10 easily imo

After this class and RS frosh Vlad and JT, I'd say our secondary is well on it's way to improvement in a year or two.

The only spots on the D I'm not very excited about are the 2 ILB spots, but they could very well come together too. They need to be the top priority in D recruiting next year though.
