Ace has really stepped up his Andy Richter game. Perfect compliment to Brian and either guest on this podcast.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Harbaugh's on it||
All I know is we won't have to worry about a bad seat at the big house this year:

Beating Ohio State. If M beats Ohio State, it will be a tremendous success regardless of record. If not, then it will be a "stepping stone" season as long as the record is 7-5 or better.

I was watching the 1997 Colorado game yesterday and realized though it would be unorthodox, and maybe I would be the only one interested, I would love to see a WH Chris Floyd video. I realize it would be 65% blocks, but they would be kickass blocks.
Thank you for all your wonderful work.

...actually cheered me up ever so slightly after Colorado '94. Should have been impossible. Good dude that Bongo Man.

|1 week 5 days ago||The sad thing is...||
...it probably could have been any of the weeks. Hence the horrible blur of crap.
|1 week 6 days ago||Most painful||
Most painful loss I've had as a Michigan fan. Still not over it. Can't really watch it. If only we'd had better cleats...
|1 week 6 days ago||Disagree on NU||
An "amazing" game due to the high number of points, but that was driven by the comedy of errors by both defenses. Even the ending was brutal - Michigan in position for a long FG try from Epstein and the ball goes through Navarre's hands on the hold. Plus, in addition to Thoms' fumble, Damien Anderson dropped an easy TD pass right before. Just a mess all around.
|1 week 6 days ago||Pretty much yeah||
And seeing Hoke "coaching" from the sidelines won't bring with it any warm fuzzies.
|1 week 6 days ago||1994 ND should be near the top of your list||
Amazing game. The 1994 Penn State game was also amazing, but unfortunately we lost. 1994 was a crazy year. Others:
1996 OSU - not a "great" game, but the good guys won.
1997 ND - Just to appreciate how that defense saved the season almost before it began.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Interesting||
...that they were trying to ban it in '89, but the practice continued through at least 1995 or so.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Had a similar thought, but||
"Mon dieu! Je suis tellement défoncé juste maintenant... Ce monsieur ressemble beaucoup à Jim Harbaugh! Allez bleu!"
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Tickets||
It's silly that Sherman connects the antics to ticket sales. The reputation of a winning coach and favorite son coming in is accounting for 99% of that.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Yes, but||
Yes, but had the inflatable Pepsi cans imply bought two cokes it could have gotten into the stadium

Is he also to blame for games in East Lansing in consecutive years (and now MSU and OSU either both at home or on the road in the same year for the foreseeable future)?

Ya heard me.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Bottom Line||
All parties agree that Michigan was going to honor Pipkins' scholarship. The only remotely reasonable "debate" is the level of pressure applied. Harbaugh could have said "OK, keep at it, buddy" and kept him sidelined. He's been more direct with the player, and as recently noted on a completely unrelated story, it's a free country. If anyone is lying here, it is about minutiae anyway.
Sad to see him leave. Sadder that such a young man has gone through the injuries he has. Not much more need be said.

A new one I just heard:
I haven't talked to my wife in years. I didn't want to interrupt her.
(OK, so maybe that's two lines, but come on - gold)

Just like always.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||I had a fall wedding||
But it was in Argentina, so that meant it took place in April. Worked out great as we got a lot more for our money. Drawback was that many friends couldn't make the very long trip.
My advice: Focus on the three things most important to you and only worry about those. Something will go wrong, so don't worry if it's not perfect.
Oh, and start as early as possible. You don't want to be running around those last few weeks.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Michigan||
But both are pretty good.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||Of the others I've been to, I'd rank 'em:||
(And counting the overall experience, tailgating, etc.)
3) Rose Bowl
4) Notre Dame
5 (tied) Wisconsin, Tennessee, Cotton Bowl (OU/Texas)
9) Stagg Bowl (D3 championship)
12) Ohio State (stadium is great, but people - not so friendly)
18) Cocktail Party (UF/UGA in Jacksonville)
Looked in on Georgia's stadium from the outside, and it looks superb. Same with MSU and Iowa, but not the superb part.
Just my two cents...
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Meyer Grayshirting?||
I'm obviously not up to speed, but what is Meyer doing that has crossed the line?
|17 weeks 3 days ago||Oh goodness||
That list is horrible. Lebron #2? Kobe above all the people they put him above? Messi all the way down at #12? More jokey nonsense from the WWL...
|17 weeks 5 days ago||Oh and Bill Hicks, too||
He was before his time...
|17 weeks 5 days ago||Greg Giraldo||
Not a month goes by that I don't get pissed off all over again that he's gone. Dude was the best.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||My silly list||
1. The Big Lebowski
2. Trading Places
3. Dr. Strangelove
4. This is Spinal Tap
That was harder than I expected - had to cut: Caddyshack, The Blues Brothers, Annie Hall, Groundhog Day, Rushmore, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Coming to America, Borat, and Clerks.
|18 weeks 6 days ago||Ah||
I guess that's MGoK.
Am I doing this right?
