I go back and watch these at least once a week. The best comment he makes in both videos is "Jim Knowles, you tricked us”

I honestly enjoyed the game so much with his analysis! I felt I'd found my evil empire alter-ego, the way he called them out for every (it turns out) predictable mistake.

Like listening to myself vs Washington when they ran that same play to Odunze 3 times & we never ONCE covered him! How different could that game have potentially been if he'd caught the 1st one & the 2nd hadn't been a holding?!

But the part that's most like me is how he quietly says "nice throw, nice catch" when they do something good, but erupts in indignation when they get beaten on a play - even if it's an amazing play like Cornelius' sideline catch in '23!

4 or 5 more of those in a row and he'll have an idea how I felt after '08-'10, or '18-'19!!!!!

It was the exact same play 3 times and they never covered him once.

That was their best (and maybe only good) scouting job/play design in the entire game. It's actually difficult to name another really well designed play where Washington took advantage of Michigan's tendencies.

Their TD was a great play, but nothing about it was specific to targeting Michigan. That was just a great QB with multiple great receivers to choose from, being given enough time to let the play develop for one of the few times in the game.

But as I said, if those 3 deep passes down the right sideline, all coverage busts, had all been completed - different game.

Michigan still wins, but we're not popping the champagne with 4+ minutes left to play!

2012-13 close games, wasn't completely clear Hoke could never duplicate 2011 yet. By '14 it was clear he was gone.

In '15 Michigan showed great progress in Harbaugh's 1st year, Rudock got knocked out vs osu.

2016 I will never concede Michigan lost - it was so far beyond the spot. The most one-sided officiated game I've ever seen. Osu had 2 penalties for a total of 6 yds in a 2 OT game! Harbaugh more than doubled that with 1 clipboard toss!

2017 again close, JOK for the loss!

So, yeah it was in '18-'19 I felt totally hopeless. But also just mathematically, it would take more 4-5 Ls til a bucknut could begin to feel that, because those were the 7th & 8th straight for Michigan!

It’s pretty shocking they didn’t run ryan 3b outta there after 3 consecutive beatdowns by Michigan. And the bed wetting vs Missouri? Man day must be sucking up bigtime there. The fact he got beat by the qb he refused to take on his roster is ultimate reap what you sow irony

Really wish that guy was a Michigan fan.  He loved it when Michigan went for it on 4th down late against Alabama, and said he started rooting for the Wolverines after that gutsy call.

Too bad he supports the Evil Empire.  But cheers to him...

I just watched both videos for the first time (I should be at work).  Hearing the comments he makes about JJ and the respect shown to him by our rival - I just sat hear and started crying.  That OSU fan understands how JJ and our coaches sacrificed stats and maybe even a heisman to win games and stick with a working running game, which he clearly criticizes Day/Stroud for not doing.  I love JJ.  What a blessing we had for these past three years including 2021). Man we are going to miss him   If Uber  were alive JJ would be the second coming of "The Guts and Glue of the Maize & Blue"
