Looking for Metro Detroit vendor to produce simple/high quality Rose Bowl t-shirt

Shortly after the Rose Bowl victory, I spotted this - https://www.fanatics.com/college/michigan-wolverines/michigan-wolverines-antigua-college-football-playoff-2024-rose-bowl-generation-quarter-zip-pullover-top-navy/o-38+t-90081664+p-13771255161336+z-9-273298420?_ref=p-SRP:m-GRID:i-r0c1:po-1

Which I absolutely love - it is perfect. I thought - would be great to have this same design on a t-shirt. Unfortunately, Fanatics does not sell it in t-shirt form. Looked on the Chinese sites - they only sell jerseys from what I've found (my Rose Bowl jersey from DHgate is awesome btw - https://www.dhgate.com/product/2024-rose-bowl-patch-michigan-wolverines/935103853.html?f=dm%7Cedm%7Cauto%7Cdhlinktr_shipping_delivery_en%7Cen%7C20240201

Googled it, found one place selling it in t-shirt form - https://dettas.com/official-michigan-wolverines-college-football-playoff-2024-rose-bowl-victory-pullover-hoodie?product=unisex-standard-t-shirt&variant_key=navy-m&color=navy&size=m&gad_source=1

Bought it and...it's a Gildan t-shirt. Tight around the neck and the armpits droop - the cut of the t-shirt sucks.

tldr - where can I have this made, locally, in Metro Detroit?

I typed a rant and deleted it instead of posting. Just terrible out here. So sad comparing it to 1998 Rose Bowl gear.

OP - try looking around Etsy. I know it's not local, but I at least had some success with that. I bet you can work with a vendor to have them buy a different t-shirt template than Gildan, most listings of this nature on Etsy are screen-print on demand.

Winning Imprints in Keego Harbor can do whatever you want.  One of the owners is a friend of mine.  They have access to any type of tshirt.  I always recommend going with the tri-blend!

Call them and ask for Emma.   248-681-3191

I had a custom made Michigan t-shirt done for my brother and I like 20 years ago. I'm sure the guy never got a licensing deal. It was just 2 shirts and it's not like some cop or someone in the Michigan administration is gonna come up and demand to know where I got the shirt. So, probably supposed to, but do they care if they're literally making 1?

The biggest challenge here is that you really need a high resolution image of that part of the shirt with all the symbols.  If you just download the image from that website, it's not good enough. The printing won't be crisp no matter who does it.

With a high res image, you could put it on any shirt your want.

My guess is that the shirt you received was the Gildan 5000.  I personally prefer the Gildan 64000. It's softer, but still has some structure to it and doesn't have the tight neck hole.  If you recall American Apparel's shirts and liked them, then you'd want the Bella+Canvas 3001.

It's interesting that the MDen has

1. Already put the ugliest NC gear in the clearance racks

2. Started flooding their shelves with just as much, if not more Rose Bowl championship gear, which seems to be moving a lot more. Why? Because it's way less ugly.

Does most of it still really suck? Yep. It's such a bummer.

Not an exact answer to your question, but Fanatics had a sale price for the 3/4 zip Antigua one you saw. (down from $93 to $69.) I liked the Antigua one I bought right after the Rose Bowl so much I bought a second one that is slightly varied. That sale has expired, but I'd imagine there will be another one until they empty out their inventory. There are two Antigua ones that are almost identical, so I bought one of each. Here are links:

Antigua 3/4 zip pullover, Navy/Maize

Antigua 3/4 zip pullover, Navy

Soon after the National Championship, I purchased a similar looking one (to the Antigua pullover) from MDen, only with the national championship logo. However, I didn't like it as much for several reasons. First, I really like the block M, which was missing from the national championship jersey. I also really like the Rose Bowl logo. Second, I went to the Rose Bowl, and as far as I'm concerned, that was the real national championship. Third, and most importantly, it was a thin long sleeved jersey, and not nearly as nice in quality and substance as the Antigua pullover.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar personally with Peter Millar or Nike/Jordan. Depending on the brand, I am either a 2XL or 3XL, or 2XLT / 3XLT. I purchased the 3XL, which is almost perfect for me. (It could be a tiny bit longer in the arm, but I'm not complaining a bit.) Isn't tight, and isn't baggy. As a comparison, I have a Columbia Men's 3X Tall jacket, which is longer, but slightly big. Because I have lost 40 pounds and am slowly losing more, I tend to be careful to get things that just fit, so they won't be way too big in a year.

On the DHGate jersey you linked - does that have the shoulder designs as well or just the Rose Bowl chest patch? Any pictures of the jersey? Pretty tempting at that price.
