Nope, I'm struggling to find it online too. It's short sleeved and not quite compression, I believe they call it "fitted". It has the grey pattern on the back.

There's a nice Pro Combat one out there for $50. I tried it on just for kicks but ended up really liking it and now I wear it to the gym. Well ventilated in the back and fits great. I do not regret my purchase and strongly recommend that one.

Agree to disagree on the helmets.
Regarding the game, yeah, definitly closer than the score indicated. Defensively they couldn't stop the Esky rushing attack, but if they don't fumble at the 2 and just give them the field goal instead of taking the personal foul it's a very different game. Just need to sew a handle on the football. The offense did move the ball fairly well .

My alma mater! I was at the game and, uh, not a fan of the helmets. Last year they had the all white helmets with a green A, and they looked as good as green and white can. You can see from the picture (#12 and #68) that the spacing of the wings was inconsistent from helmet to helmet and that drove me up a wall.
Team lost 24-8 to Escanaba, fumbled 3 times and gave up several long drives to Esky, including one drive of 11 and TWO drives of 16(!) plays, one in the 3rd quarter that took 9 and a half minutes of the 12 minute quarter. Also got called for a personal foul (leaping) on a blocked Escanaba field goal that gave Escanaba a first down on 4th and 21.

Not watch, but listen. My sister goes to MSU, my whole family is Michigan fans and I'm a Michigan grad. We went to MSU-Purdue for family weekend, and that was the weekend of the Maryland game that got moved from 8 pm to noon. So my dad and I were huddled up in 33 degree rain/snow mix with 40 mph winds in Spartan Stadium listening to Michigan v. Maryland on portable radios. Every so often we would just look down the row at each other and give a thumbs up. Easily the worst weather I have ever sat through a game in, though, and I was at Michigan-WMU in 2011 and Michigan-Utah in 2014.
Also, very into Rutgers schadenfreude.

That's cool! I coached some softball players from Hillman this summer. Lots of cross-over between the communities.

Also the home of Pat Colburn, one of the best HS golfers I played against in high school. At least, before he transferred to Central. I believe he's playing at MSU now.

Ah, good ol' Mackinaw. My sister worked up on the Island for the summer so I spent some time in your neck of the woods this summer. Beautiful area.

I did distinctly remember a winning (maybe playoff?) season back when I was younger. I would have been 12 and going to football games to hang out with the cute girls I went to school with.

As is tradition! Thanks for the well wishes, hope your team has a good season too! You up north as well?

The Barn! I loved going to games there as a kid. They tore the rink down because of structural problems 12 or so years ago. :( The locker room area is now a yoga/fitness center.

The Alpena Wildcats way up here in Northeast Lower MI; only green and white I'll cheer for. We're on our fifth coach in five years or something like that. Haven't had a winning season in god knows how long, and we're 4-12 in openers since 2000. We're playing the hated Eskymos of Escanaba. New coach is running the Wing-T, so we'll see how it goes. I'm just excited to watch some football again.

UM has sent plenty. Braylon, Manningham, Breaston, Avant, Hemingway, Funchess, just to name a few recent ones. They most certainly did not sent Percy Harvin; that was UF.
Unless you meant Urban Meyer by "UM", in which case, shame.

Love your contributions around here, from the writing, to the podcasts, to the Twitterverse. Can't imagine it without you. Go Blue!

Ah, my bad. Thought you might have been going for that but the touch and accuracy threw me off.
|1 week 4 days ago||"Better touch" and "better||
"Better touch" and "better accuracy" are typically used when talking about touch and accuracy. When someone has a "better arm" (or a "bigger arm"), it usually means they can just plain throw the ball harder and farther.

Something tells me that Johnson didn't miss the team photo for being too light. Unless he was literally so skinny you just can't see him.

What happens if (knock on wood, fingers crossed, oh please oh please oh please), we land Harris? Are we going to take FOUR running backs, or can we expect some culling of those numbers?

|3 weeks 2 days ago||The recruiting question||
The recruiting question regarding whether your opinions of other players ended up changing as you reviewed them was a really good one. That's actually a good idea for a post, now that the in-depth profiles are completed, something like a class summary or class evaluation would be awesome to read, especially since you've had the chance to delve pretty deep into each player.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Honestly||
Honestly, you shouldn't be telling people what they can and can't consider top 5 lifetime experiences. This was unique and from the looks of it, full of energy. Guy got a chance to see Harbaugh, meet Gary, and see a ton of other athletes and personalities all in one spot. He clearly enjoyed it. Good for him. I'm not gonna sit here and say you should be more excited about this, because you like what you like. Just let the guy enjoy the experience.
Edit: Posted before I saw your response further down the thread. Still holds true, but glad you recognize at least the first part of what I said.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Slaton||
Slaton wanting to play basketball reminds me of when I watched (future MSU commit) Thiyo Lukusa play basketball against my high school a couple of years ago. Big kid, but lacked the basketball-type athleticism. Really didn't do anything well outside of be a big person. I have to suspect that a 340-pound person with SG height would be at a similar disadvantage.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||Unfortunately not Harbaugh||
I originally thought it was Harbaugh too, but Jim is in the darker shirt with the hat to the left. This is a different coach/sideline staffer, but still fantastic.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||I do not recommend one-by-one||
I would not buy my irons one-by-one. If you're serious about it, go get fitted for clubs at something like a Carl's Golf Land or King Par. I got fitted for irons about seven years ago and I've been using them ever since. Haven't found a set I hit better. I tried several top-end ones when I got fitted and ended up going with a cheaper set of Taylor-Made's just because they felt better, and I still hit them great.
Essentially, my best advice is to go try some clubs out before you buy them. I did that and ended up buying a $250 driver instead of the $400 ones just because I hit it that much better. It's been about eight years with the same driver from a smaller company (Tour Edge) and I still hit it between 295 and 320. Doesn't matter how much something costs if you can't hit it straight.

I had a chance to get to know David's daughter that is currently at UM. She was one of the freshmen that came through my orientation program and I worked with her just last year on a freshman recruiting event for admissions. She is going to go on to do great things. Just a fantastic person, extremely kind, well-spoken, and smart as a whip.

I've got an ad on the side of mine for Febreze. Dammit, if Brian is a Febreze guy that is completely up to him but my children were raised in a Glade household and I will not allow them to read a blog that runs ads from Big Scent. Wake up, America.
