...."And that wasn't just in one unforgettable World Series game in 1991. It was in start after start, for 18 seasons. These are Verducci's numbers, not mine -- but I refuse to ignore the fact that, from 1979 to 1992, Morris racked up 18 percent more innings than any other pitcher in his sport. And made it through the eighth inning 45 percent more often than any other pitcher in his sport."
Morris was a beast. Also, how is Maddux NOT a unanimous pick? Who the hell left him off the ballot?? Shameful
Fitz came to play today. Finally saw him cut like he never had the injury. He made a few guys look silly. This was a fun game to watch. I would much rather sit through a game like this than that snooze fest they had down in E.L
Can't complain though, as I'm at work making that double time. I did spend the evening getting my gf caught up on some S.O.A. She loves it. We are on season four.
was brilliant. Tarantino is a genius. I was very disappointed that a family decided to bring their young daughters, including a 3 year old, and ended up sitting right behind me. I mean, they only threw out the "N" word about 200 times on the screen. Talk about some bad parenting..
I didn't have a chance to watch the game yesterday, so watching this recap was glorious. Love the goal line D, and Jake Ryan is playling like a man getting snubbed from the post season awards. Fuel that fire #47!
should have let that ball drop. I know it's not something that runs through their minds. It's pure instinct, but if UM had lost that game, I would have pointed to that play.
90 yards last week and doesn't see the field today? I apologize if someone has already mentioned it, but how does he not at least get a few snaps where he can go north/south instead of running all these zone reads that Fitz can't break (yeah, he had a 38 yard run, but had 9 for 14 yards otherwise)
It was an ugly game, but I will take an ugly win over a loss any day. Dileo was in full beast mode today. Also, this defense is playing amazing right now. Nothing over 13 points in five straight games. I have to guess they are top 15 nationally in defense, and number one or two in the B1G. I am sure someone will toss the numbers around when they get the chance.
might be regretting having Valturde as a client now. Any money Papa fatass thought he may have gotten as a FA just took a shit with him on the mound too. Enjoy your offseason!!
Sec 339 row 10 seats 22 and 23. The redemption table will be behind section 330, and you have to have your vouchers redeemed by the end of the 3rd inning, so heads up there.
I am a huge Bynum fan. It will be sad to see him go. I know Kobe loved the way he played. Dwight and Bynum had pretty comparable stats last year (20.6 ppg, 14.5 rpg, 2.1 blk for Dwight and 18.7 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 1.6 blk for Bynum), and Bynum shoots 20% higher from the FT line, plus he is two years younger. I don't see the Lakers winning a ton more games w/ Howard as opposed to Bynum. At least Bynum can now go to a team where he will be the focal point of an offense. I anticipate he will have a monster season in Philly, maybe 22-24 ppg and 15+ rpg
This video, along with the Denard speech, made my day. Nothing like some UM highlights to brighten what has been a very somber week for me after losing my mother. Thank you WH!
Operation Mindcrime is one of my favorites. Amazing live show when I saw them on their Promised Land tour. Played all the right songs to tell that story
She had a bad reaction to some medication, and it resulted in stroke-like symptoms. She went the better part of two months with speech and motor function problems
was a career .246 hitter. Brandon is a .234 career hitter. Brandon has also hit almost 80 more HR than TB. Brookens played 10 years on the infield for Detroit. He was a 1st round pick. Where is all the hate for him??
Are you telling me you just cant give the ball to 80%+ FT shooters like Kyle Korver or Rip Hamiliton and keep a lead?? Philly would have been fouling anyways.
I knew he had overstayed his welcome. He had to go, and I thank him for what he brought to the Tigers over the years, especially defensively. The worst part of this is that they put Clete Thomas on waivers to keep a roster spot for Inge, then release him 11 days later.

The first 45 minutes of Full Metal Jacket is all I will watch.
is there for the Lions to pick, and they don't pick him, everybody in that draft headquarter should be FIRED!

but won't commit to a time until she knows the start time for the game so she can watch it with me. I definitely have a keeper!

I chose the first link on the drop down menu
EDIT: Not sure how to post link
and RP has been solid, something like a 3.5 ERA over his last 15 starts, which is more than I can say about JV lately.
D-Mo will be #2 pg next season
He probably won't be the only one transferring.
I want that lunch pail.
+ just in case we didn't know what it meant, Dakich!

Hand the ball off and run behind Lewan 30 times a game. Problem solved.

They were on the body of another player, therefore the spot was correct.

My buddy just heard on radio of a possible trade w/ the cubs. Raburn, Delmon, and Danny Worth for Soriano and Barney

will run ya $29, and $5 goes to their Athletic Dept., so not a worthy cause.
Typical.
sealed the deal for me. 1 Hart, 2 Graham, 3 Long.
My apologies to Team 132. You guys will get in. Just not this year.
Also, no Chad Henne mention is an oversight, I hope.

Inge was the least of their problems . How's that bullpen working out??
