the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Remember the craigslist scam to get seat fillers in year one? Ticket sales for this game are a joke. |

That's pretty much what Martin did for his years at M; piss off the fans (no Crisler renovations, renovating the Big House, RRod). |

| 1 year 16 weeks ago | FYI |
When they sell tickets to an event like this (requiring points, away venue), you often have to show an ID to pickup the tickets in the city of the event. Keep this in mind if you're going to buy them from someone, it may not work out. |
| 1 year 16 weeks ago | Where was he? |
Cundiff comes running in with about 7 seconds left on the play clock. Where was he? It's not like he didn't know they were going to kick. Was he anticipating the 'icing of the kicker' play? Definitely the bigger goat. |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | ECU |
ECU did this a few years back when they were invited to the Hawaii bowl. That made sense because A) it was ECU and B) Flights to Hawaii are super expensive, especially last minute. This doesn't make sense. Everyone says M travels well, but do we? We were passed over in 2005 for the Outback Bowl (Iowa) and couldn't sell out the Alamo Bowl. We were definitely outnumbered against Texas in the 2005 Rose Bowl and USC (duh, home game) in 2007. Those are the only 3 I've been to. #smallsamplesize The higher cost may be to provide a VT shirt to the recipient of the tickets. |

Is there anyone there, crowd sounds silent. Usually they go balistic for a 1-2 rush. |

Am I the only one who is surprised that we haven't sold them all yet? Hopefully many people are buying the many other tickets which would be available. Maize out the Sugar Bowl! |

I find it impossible to cheer for any rival that we lost to this year. |
| 1 year 24 weeks ago | Don't call them what they call themselves |
I find it hilarious that Hoke is classless for dropping the "state" when they do it themselves. It's the Script What? They are always chanting those four letters and leaving off the "state". Tremendous. |

Maybe the problem could be solved with better microphones on the MMB curtosy of ESPN2. |

You sir, know nothing about Marching Bands. The USC band is one of the least musical and least least liked bands in the nation, and that includes from their own fans. |

Could also be a nightmare depending on how close you like to East Lansing. |
| 1 year 39 weeks ago | OU-Texas = Michigan-Ostate |
Think about it, two major rivals, one (ohio & Texas) are major talent states with no real internal rivals, the other (Michigan & OU) pulls a lot of that talent and is inherently better and awesome. Now if only we could have a recent head to head record like OU does. |

They actually made it marginally interesting, by cutting out the whole 3 minutes of trying to figure out the first 3 letters. The clip features an awful lot of QB #2. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Dallas hung it 5 feet higher |
Dallas hung it 5 feet higher than the NFL told them was the minimum. It's very common in hockey though to have center ice scoreboards. I just feel for the spectators who cannot see the Yost boards because of the upper deck overhang. Maybe they'll put up mini-godzillatrons for them.
The people for whom the scoreboards will block the ice are sitting in the boxes, no athletic director is going to screw that up and hang it too low. |
| 2 years 5 weeks ago | If I ever hear, "Connolly |
If I ever hear, "Connolly wins the draw" again, it'll be too soon. It seemed like even when we won the draw the UMD players came around and took it before our guys could get there. |

| 2 years 6 weeks ago | Lonely Denver Bar |
We had a good time drinking with Sioux fans at our hotel bar after we lost in the 2008 Frozen Four. They were fun people despite the fact that BC absolutely destroyed them. I think that they are fun fans though, probably on par with a Yost crowd for devotion. |
| 2 years 8 weeks ago | Fort Wayne |
Last year Michigan and Miami played in Fort Wayne and couldn't fill the stadium, or really even come close. The NCAA didn't help things by playing it at 7pm on Sunday but still. I went to a number of NCAA first/second round games at Van Andel in Grand Rapids. It was never close to being full. Not sure exactly why but the interest/publicity just isn't there for true neutral site games in the Midwest. |
