Why should we praise Goodell for giving an extremely weak punishment and taking his sweet time to do the right thing after he sees that the whole thing isn't blowing over? I don't think it really matters if he saw the tape or not. The issue I have is that he has just screwed up the entire situation and made the NFL look stupid in the process. Goodell is lying about something. I don't really care if he loses his job, but I wouldn't care in any way if he did.
They aren't as bad as I imagined they could be. I actually don't mind Maryland's other uniforms either. The only thing that looks bad on this jersey to me is the declaration going down onto the shoulders/sleeves of the jersey. It looks fine on the helmet. I like it quite a bit more than NW's patriotic jerseys.
At this point it seems like Kelly has been trying to keep up the illusion that these guys may play just to keep Michigan guessing. Your point is the other possibility, but it really doesn't look like they'll play. Either way I think Michigan pulls out this win.
This place is just a whole lot more fun when Michigan beats the hell out of somebody, especially the Irish. Lets keep that going. I have a good feeling about this team. We have some special playmakers and I wanna see Notre Dame walk away from this rivalry with its tail between its legs. Go blue, stomp em
That's how I've always looked at games like this. I don't really root for anybody in particular. I just take joy in the positives of each scenario. I generally lean toward LOL MSU, though.

I figure we'll be thinking MOAR FUNCHESS a little bit anyway. Overall I don't think the running backs do much, but just enough to help extend a few drives.
Im not sure why exactly, but I have a lot of confidence in this team to beat Notre Dame. I can't really explain it, but I just like what this team has. There's plenty of weapons on offense, especially if the line can hold up and create a few running lanes. I think the main thing for me is the confidence in Nuss. I actually think he will make sure he adjusts his offense to what they can do effectively. If the line falls apart in the run game I have faith that he'll open things up through the air. I'm extremely interested in seeing what types of plays he introduces for this game. I'm really tempted to predict a big win for M, but I'll say it ends up a little closer than it should. Something along the lines of 28-20 in favor of M. Gardner and the receivers shine while the OL opens up enough holes to get Smith and Green a couple runs of 10+ yard runs to keep the defense honest. Can't wait for the game, go blue.
On that note I had to look up what the record for most overtimes was because the only way I can imagine a tie game now would be a case of insane OTs. The 2003 game between Arkansas and Kentucky holds the record with 7 OTs. The game ended in a 71-63 win for Kentucky. Interestingly enough, Arkansas was also in a 7 OT game in 2001 against Mississippi. There's some random facts for you.
Did anybody else see him Saturday evening on ESPN? He basically started talking about how you can't tell anything from week one because all these teams are playing cupcakes, then he goes on to say Notre Dame is awesome because Rice. Rece Davis and Mark May were pretty baffled. I love that they openly made fun of him, though.
I also noticed the team has some very promising sock technology working in their favor on game day. Hell, even some of our more rambunctious MGoBloggers (I'm looking at you WD) are getting in on it... which is nice.
Both hits were nice, but Woodson really smashed that Baylor guy into the ground. Countess had solid contact to start the tackle, but then the ASU player just kinda falls down. Having said that, we're splitting hairs and we should probably just enjoy the hits.
I've hated him from the moment I saw him on ESPN. It may be that I just hate all the youngest guys they've added (I really freakin hate the newest guy I noticed that they bring in to talk about the NFL). I'm 22 so it's not like I hate young people, these young guys just seem to be real dopes. Jesse Palmer is the only one I can tolerate for any amount of time. I'm gonna start sidetracking here, but I really felt like puking when I watched the SEC Network before the USC Tex A&M game. They were just trying way too hard to compliment everything about each team, the stadium, everything SEC, etc. I get it because it's the SEC Network, but the Big Ten Network isn't that bad, is it? I really hate Tim Tebow, and I'm not even sure why. He seems like a truly great person, but I think his voice is mostly what annoys me. That bald Paul Finebaum can be somewhat of a dick, too. I probably need to avoid ESPN as much a possible.
In my experience the majority of scalpers have sets of two together, and sometimes you can find people selling 3 or 4. That's about it. I can't imagine finding 10 together from a scalper would even be possible. It seems like it'd be pretty hectic with that many people together anyway. I'd recommend just having each person scalp individually, but if sitting together is that important go on stubhub.
I might actually use that just because the picture looks so damn good and I'm incredibly pumped for football to be back. I've also been using the MBB bench reaction to the infamous Burke 3 against Kansas. I love that background and all, but I think it might be time to move on.
Oddly enough I was also smacked in the face with a red ad, but mine was for Flagstar bank. Other than that the site was pretty bland. I'm not really a fan. I think the lack of dividing lines or sections makes the ads stick out even more than they would normally. There's way too much white on the screen for me, but others may feel differently.
I did hear Hoke mention this in a presser and found it interesting. I never really thought about the possibility of them using that kind of stuff, but I can see how it'd be valuable. It was very interesting when watching the world cup when they discussed the distance traveled by players and I was curious how they measured that. I would imagine it's the same kind of thing. Should be cool to see how this type of technology evolves as it is used more.
I realize you were probably being sarcastic, but I actually broke my foot earlier this year and it's amazing the size and definition I lost in that calf from not walking on it for around one month. I would not recommend breaking a foot to anybody FYI.
It was pretty good when I went, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd like to go back and try something else, but I don't even remember what I got at this point.
One of my favorite burger places is Stella's in Grand Rapids. If you ever get a chance to stop by, their burgers are stuffed, huge, and awesome. The fries are pretty killer, too.
Monroe is a good player and all, but I'm not a huge fan of them paying him a lot either. If they could do a sign and trade deal with somebody, I'd be pretty happy. That being said, I don't dive too deep into any analysis of the NBA so I wouldn't even know what a good deal for them would be if they got one.
As previously stated, he was awesome in Wedding Crashers and Step Brothers. I was a prettty big fan of Talladega Nights, too. This wasn't one of his more popular movies, but I thought he was very solid in Everything Must Go, although that wasn't the funniest movie. You're acting like he's Adam Sandler or something.

I believe he was invited to the PSU night game this season, so I can't imagine how excited he is for that.

Obviously the tie is the best outcome.

Well, I'd say that's the key.
Phase 1: Eat the lemon
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit
Her voice bothers me for some reason. There are women with voices that don't bother me.

Jesus, man. Really? It does make me curious when this first became a common practice, though.

I was about to say the same thing. I liked the Peppers hit a lot more than that Countess hit, but tackles are always nice.

Groot, what gives? When did you add all these words to your previously borderline nonexistent vocabulary?
I'm imagining you watching an old timey black and white hype video now... so that's interesting.
That was surprisingly well thought out and awesome. Well done, sir. Some of that stuff is truly weird.
Am I supposed to be creeped out by that?
Screw the Irish and everything, but it's a great movie. I don't care what teams you like/hate.
Sounds like the exact same thing I'd say if she asked me. Not worth overanalyzing this, IMO.
I'm still shocked Georgia Tech changed their sleeve cuffs from Blue to Gold. Where's the outrage MGoBlog faithful?

DJ Wilson just doesn't register in my brain yet. Hopefully he changes that when basketball season comes around (in a good way).
At least people don't expect much out of MLS teams in that type of game. Brazil's performance against Germany on the otherhand...
He seems like an awesome dude and I really hope he grows into a star for this franchise.
I still think you're pretty damn old.
Would some OMG Shirtless pics be too much?
Are you saying you'll be drinking under age? Didn't know that was a thing.

I can't speak for the Mango-Ritas specifically, but I've seen 24 oz Beergaritas.
I'm a fan of double IPAs so I'll have to look into that, thanks.
Time to peruse the liquor cabinet and weigh my options.
I've heard good things about Greenbush Brewery, but I've never had anything from them. Good stuff?
and Dude in the middle: OOOHHHH out of left field, huh???!?!
Idk, it looks like you half-started your own mini argument between Mighty Fine and Hopdoddy's right there.

That name also seems appropriate for a circle of friends.

I think you mean Will Pharrell. Or possibly Ferrell Williams.
