Just listened... You absolutely have to love the guy. Most of his answers are coach speak but I love the way he handles himself when the media geeks are firing.

I'm not a prediction kind of guy. But I predict that will be the last time he's asked about being on the hot seat. Well unless there's another interview or two today. But I think it gets put to rest this year when this team finally again does something special.

It's a shame that Hoke has to waste his time and breath on a station that employs a blowhard that bashes UM at every turn and that takes personal shots at Hoke on an almost daily basis.

I understand what you're saying. But my point more was to the personal level that he takes it. I don't hear any other MSU biased radio hosts take it to his level and I certainly don't hear any UM biased radio hosts take it to that level either. It's one thing to be a MSU fan on the radio and have some semblance of unbiased opinion at times, it's a whole other thing to take shots at Hoke's weight, his not so fluent public speaking, and calling into question his overall knowledge of the game and whether he is the head coach or just a figurehead. I'm just not sure why UM gives that station any special interviews with Hoke or anyone in the athletic department

1 game at a time, get better each and every week...that's all anyone (on the team) needs to be focused on. The rest is just outside noise that will take care of itself.

This team has a real opportunity. People forget that last year we started 6-1, even though it was a fake as shit 6-1.

Let's play our best football each time out and we'll see where the chips fall. That's what I love about Michigan Basketball, they're forever moving forward no matter if they start the year highly touted/ranked or not. You see the improvement even in a good number of the losses, you feel like we played some good basketball...it just wasn't our night (or the calls just didn't go our way). And in many of the other losses, you don't feel like it was a step back, just something to be learned.

Football can't play their best game in the 2nd game of the year against two 1st round DL draft picks and then just shit the bed.

I excpect there to be a lot of "Sharpian" hater type noise this weekend, just because they get their rocks off to "THE HORROR," and then that will die down some. Next week, it'll be back, but we're on the road and we've got a real shot to get some footing on this season with a win @ND.

Run off wins headed into East Lansing and you're talking about the biggest/most pivitol game in this program since Hoke's first win over OSU.

Take that one and it'll officially be time for folks to take notice. Not 100% back, but it'll be time for Michigan to get some of that love/respect that we used to get just becuase we were Michigan. You know, that "ranked a little higher, just because we're Michigan/Texas/ND love (before the SEC took it all)," that extra media attention, that "second week of the season and we've got Heisman candidates love."

But just a game at a time, I'm going to enjoy this year one game at a time. I hate when fans say "don't look ahead" to other fans...we're not the ones playing! But this season, I'm not looking ahead any more than I just did. I just want to watch every detail and see improvement each week.I want to show up in EL with them on their heels because Michigan is in town and we've shown that we're the real deal.

1 more day...
