breaking bad is going to have an extended "final" season. i believe they are going to break up the final 16 episodes over 2 years. 8 this summer/fall, and the final 8 sometime in 2013. AFAIK they haven't announced when in 2013 the final episodes would air - early/mid/late 2013.

you should be ok with just getting the standard time warner package - ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 - 90% of michigan games have been on one of these 3 channels the past couple years. 1-3 times a year - michigan will end up only on the big10 network. usually your delaware st./ bowling green type games. you can add the $5-10/mo. sports package to get BTN - or go to a bar/watch online for those games. the HD package is $10/mo. worth it if you are going to spend the $$$ on a good tv. |

i posted this last night in the last 'malware' thread - pretty sure nobody saw it - but - >>>>>>>>> i would have started my own thread on this but lost some of my privileges from expiring points don't know if anyone else has been getting this today - seems like a malicious .exe is trying to load itself everytime i visit mgoblog - possibly via java? i'm computer literate to a point, but don't know how to explain exactly what it's trying to do. here is the pertinent info from my firewall log i am using comodo firewall 3.11 in case that matters to anyone else out there applications: \AppData\Local\Temp\0.8495793354581269.exe \AppData\Local\Temp\0.48823716269609074.exe destination IPs : 192.150.16.117 92.38.233.191 64.131.75.19 >>>>>>>>> there have been more as of this morning - and MSE detected them as a Kargany.A trojan downloader this morning - don't really know if that means anything to anyone more knowledgeable.

even though i wish he would return, seems like this year was his best chance to make the first round with so many guys staying in school who would have been ahead of him, not to mention the incoming crop of one and dones @ kentucky, louisville, unc and st johns (?). can't complain too much - this is what happens when john beilein recruits kids with potential nba skills - there's a chance they will leave before they're ready/we as fans want them to. i wish him the best - maybe it will show some 2013 and beyond kids - that you can get to the nba by way of michigan again. by the way - dear michigan <blank> hating god - dude, when are you going to let up? |

i have to agree with those above advocating for Microsoft Security Essentials. was a long time avast user and switched to MSE on my home PC shortly before the the great MgoVirus scare of last month. It alerted me to something trying to infect my PC on the 2nd or 3rd day of MgoInfection. was still using avast on my work PC, and it never alerted me to anything even though i spend vast amounts of time on this site when i should be working. the settings in MSE are pretty simple and basic. it updates itself quietly, the scheduled scan settings are simple, and i haven't run into any issues using it. it's also found a couple viruses lurking in some downloaded files that avast never discovered.
@ Maizedout1982 - i was given a replica helmet a couple years ago as a gift, and the bar in the middle can be removed. the screws are "stripped" so that any screwdriver you try to use can't get any torque? grip? on the screws, but if you try hard enough, you can unscrew them in about 5-10 minutes and remove the bar. then, after half a bottle of johnny walker black, you can put the helmet on your head and run around in your underpants, flailing your arms and legs about in celebration when the defense wins the game vs. Illinois... or, that's what i've heard other people do with the replica helmets. |

wasn't it reported that the sugar bowl reps appealed to the NCAA and OSU to keep the marquee malefactors in the game. i believe they said it was to "maintain the integrity of the game". translation - we haven't sold out this goddamn game, and if TP and boys aren't in it, no one is going to watch, and no one is buying the rest of these tickets. |

What is the over/under on the # of years the NCAA takes to complete the "investigation" into cam? it took them 5 years for them to hand down the punishment on USC, carroll and bush. and in that case they had 2 pissed off wannabe agents that bush and fam reneged on, countless receipts of items/expenses signed for by bush, a house that was occupied by the bush family one day, and empty the next when investigative reporters came a'knockin. i wonder if the guys @ yahoo sports are licking their chops with this one. the only problem is, i don't see anyone talking on the auburn side, the mississippi st side, and def not the newton side. |

i checked mgovideo in mozilla firefox and i got the same thing - blank white page the site loaded somewhat normally in IE - i thought there had been a site update - but in IE it looks like it had reverted to the older version of the site. seems like there might be something wrong with the site? dunno - i know the admin of mgovideo is over here alot - so he will probably see this. short-term solution - maybe change your browser? don't have chrome, or safari so don't know if they work. |

every magazine has their own criteria. they might think that UM might not be worth $11k/ per year (in-state) for the quality of education you receive. they might weigh teacher/student ratio more heavily, therefore smaller schools might have an advantage. maybe they don't take research facilities, endowment, alumni and kick-ass helmets into consideration. |
