"negbang" is the word for what's about to happen? Good thing it's Friday night, this should be gentle compared to what happened earlier today.

just wondering... how many pages should be required for someone to look back on on the mgoboard sidebar before a code "negbang" is ordered? i saw what happened earlier today - and i took a good 10 mins of searching mgo.licio.us and mgoboard before i posted the o-zone michigan preview link. i didn't want that to happen to me. 5 pages - i think etiquette has to be to scan back to at least 5 of 20 under the "New" tab on the mgoboard sidebar before you post something that has been reported in the MSM before you post here. if the freep's got it - more than likely, it has been posted here for at least 12 hours. not trying to be a dick to the OP - just trying to figure out what the rules around here should be.

I know we can up and down vote the posts themselves, but does that affect point totals of the person posting?

Based on the fact that Feagin saw the field basically only 1 game last season (Minnesota), and RR didn't even have the confidence for him to throw a single pass, I could care less that he transferred. Also whatever he did to be kicked off the team had to be pretty serious and I don't want anyone like that around the program. Good riddance

Yes, it's a common mistake that bothers me too. It's just like "I didn't do nothing." It's a DOUBLE NEGATIVE people. By saying that, you mean you actually did something! I know...woah, right? EDIT: This isn't directed at anyone, just a tiny rant into some internet space. WOO GO BLUE

Um, Unless I'm mistaken the phrase does not have irony in it. By saying "I could care less" is saying that you actually care about the subject (whether a lot or a little). "I couldn't care less" is saying that you care soooooo little about it that there's no way for you to care any less about it. OK, grammar time over.

Before I read anything, I thought that the space to care section was a drawing of something else...I need to stop reading threads like the piss trough thread and the pooping thread from a few weeks back...

As someone who works as an editor for a living, I've gotten to the point where I just do my best to ignore all blatant grammatical mistakes, otherwise I literally would never stop correcting people. It makes life so much easier ...
