Yet another reason to love BG. His quote on RR's future.

Submitted by MaizeAndBlueManGroup on

"I know he's going to be there, he's staying there, he's not going anywhere. I can see that already within the team,'' said Graham, who was a first-round draft pick by Philadelphia this season. "I don't see Coach Rod leaving. They're taking it one game at a time and lot of people are going to have a different perspective when they talk about Michigan.''

Nothing groundbreaking, but really nice to see a former star speaking so definitively on Coach Rod's future. Graham still is and always will be one of my favorite Wolverines. I might have to head down to Ford Field this Sunday just to watch him play.

He also talks about his thoughts on how Denard has improved.

We all do.  Hell, maybe we could play him in the secondary this year.  Me might be too slow, but so are other options.  But, think about it: Would YOU be willing to lay out over the middle with BG there, ready to turn your insides to mush?  Me neither.

Some people just don't "get it" and you'll never get RR unless you open your mind. I totally agree with the assessment about the nameless loud mouths, but inasmuch as Brandon was free with his words, I'll at least recognize him, and I pray that the baby Jesus shut his mouth and open his mind. Both would serve him well, the later more so.

I know BG is going to be succesful in Philly. He struggled a bit this weekend against the Packers, but a QB like Aaron Rogers with such a quick release really helps the offensive line out a lot.

Contrast Brandon's quote with those from various clowns (who, in the interest of politeness, shall remain nameless) that are usually some variety of "He's had enough time and he needs to get it done blah blah blah I have poor attention to detail blah blah blah."

The difference might be that B.G. has actually seen things up close.  He might be more insightful, too.

It's great to see the majority of comments now being pro-Rich Rod here and in the main stream media.  Phew!  We need that wave of negativity to stop.  Here's to a long and storied career for Rich Rodriguez at Michigan.

Brandon Graham is nothing but a class act!  I miss him around Ann Arbor as well.  He would always stop at our tailgate after each game win or lose and talk with us like we were the most important people to him at that moment.  Not only would he talk to us but his entire family would stop and talk with us as well.

Great Wolverine and wish him nothing but the best in the NFL!

Truly one of the all-time greats!  He could have easily packed it in after his junior year for the NFL. Instead, he led by example as a senior and much of the success we've experienced early this season and will continue to experience is a direct result of the work ethic and intensity our younger players picked up from BG.  He should always be remembered as one of the key cogs in getting RR's program running at the elite level it will soon be at.  I will definately be rooting for BG every Sunday!

BG is one of the authors of the next chapter of Michigan Football. It might prove to be one of the more exciting chapters, and we are lucky enough to be a position to see the ink put on the pages.

What a class act. Of course, I doubt he knows more about the state of Michigan Football than some of the media clowns, right?

I agree totally with BG.  Before the season there was so much unknown, so much negative press on whether or not RR would be around after the season.  Now you can honestly see the improvement that was made from year one to year two and now in year three.  Last year we should have went to a bowl game, bad luck, injuries, and turnovers ruined our chances.  This year it is still early but we have dominated two BCS teams.  Playing the way we should, a 5-0 start is in reach heading into a meeting with MSU, which is a very winnable game.  Dave Brandon obviously see's this progress and the possibilities that are ahead of this team.  RR isn't going anywhere, this team is going to get better and better and a nice bowl game is in our sights.

We love and miss you BG, can't wait til we see you in the pro-bowl.
