Here's my question. Wouldn't it be easier, and more accurate, rather than all these teams putting some random walk on WR at QB to make everyone on the defense wear parachutes while they play against a real QB.

No idea. He certainly has the size and skill to play point at the next level, but his outside shooting is certainly not NBA ready. I'm not sure about this but he might lack the quickness he would need to be an effective bad shoot NBA point?

I didn't read the article, but from the comments here on a blog from people who've read it, it sounds like an embarrassment to the Detroit News. Foster has destroyed a once great newspaper with his lack of grammatical control. He has also failed to foster an enviroment of compliance with the basic tenants of journalism. He would fit in much better at a newspaper like "The National Enquirer". I bet he'd do well there.
Seriously though, did anyone criticizing Rodriguez actually listen to the speech? It was pretty moving I thought, and the only time he got "emotional" was when he was talking about how much he cares about the young men in his program. This is a good thing, and if you don't think so get the fuck out of my fanbase.
How many games were actually "blowouts" as you claimed? Because you said five, and I'm confused about that. I'm sorry but 10 point losses are not blowouts, no matter how much you want the coach fired. I dunno about you, but I tend to only count the scores the other team actually, you know, scores.
Right and the Freshmen from this year will be Sophmores and better and the Sophmores from this year will be Juniors and better.
That's how it works. People have this misguided notion that a great recruiting class turns around a program right away. It doesn't, and that's why the "we need to recruit more defense" meme is completely misguided. Upperclassmen, especially on defense, are generally the reason the team wins or loses.
None of Rodriguez's defensive recruits are Juniors yet.
Because that's what Dave Brandon is looking at? I think you can look at the efficiency numbers in conjunction with our roster in addition to the product on the field and conclude that it's very likely that we will improve those numbers next year. And, in turn, win more games, of course.

Are you suggesting that he should present a unified view of Rodriguez's tenure? I think that's ludicris if that's what you're arguing. Dave Brandon has said repeatedly that he's looking for improvement in the program. And here is improvment.
I've seen many on this board argue that we haven't improved from last year, and so I don't think it's disingenuous in the slightest to provide evidence that refutes that point of view.

Where did OP predict improvement? Isn't the post trying to show improvement over the past three years? Isn't the question posed, "How much has the team improved, exactly?" Note the verb tense.

You do realize Vinopal is one of the fastest players on the team right? Also I expect this defense to be average, and I expect an average defense to have us contending for a Big Ten title.
