simulating dilithium is like buying pyrite.

He’s very shifty. I don’t know if we can do anything to simulate the speed that Denard has and that is always the biggest concern going into a bowl game, no matter who you’re playing, because you go a month without football speed. With Denard, you only have to be surprised by his speed once or twice and it’s 14-0
You know what they say about truer words, bro

Opposing teams may want to see if Carl Lewis can come in replicate Denard

...accelerates far quicker than Lewis, who was a notoriously slow starter, but fast finisher. There's just no easy way to simulate DRob.

While watching the entire practice, in person, on Saturday. it did not appear to me that Gallon was participating as the scout team quarterback. Instead, it looked to me that he was facing the 2nd/3rd team Defense as a potential security blanket in case something happens to Denard.
In other news...Tate did not participate in the team scrimmage portion of the practice. He did participate in the individual group portion, but was seen holding his right arm close to his body during sprints at the end of practice. Hopefully it is nothing serious, but it was enough to keep him out of the scrimmage.
Even more news...Gardner looked great, even better than Denard. It looks like his back is fine.

As if this could even be done on a computer. Cannot wait for him to take the field and DOMINATE.

One does not simply simulate Dilithium. The results could be cataclysmic.

Unless it's Danny Woodhead, there is no comparison to Denard.

Going to take a quarter to get the proper pursuit angles on denard, hopefully by then up by 21, once they do,slant to roundtree, see ya.

I thought they were the Bulldogs, not the Greyhounds?
December 21st, 2010 at 1:47 PM ^
Here's my question. Wouldn't it be easier, and more accurate, rather than all these teams putting some random walk on WR at QB to make everyone on the defense wear parachutes while they play against a real QB.
I mean seriously how has no one thought of this.
December 21st, 2010 at 2:15 PM ^
Nothing in the known universe is capable of, or being used for, duplicating dilithium-based speed.
December 21st, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
put their backup QB on a bike, ala Oregon's Mascot...
Not quite 100% Delithium speed, but as close as they can get I suppose
December 21st, 2010 at 3:01 PM ^
I Just got gleefully excited to hear that MSU has a guy that returns kicks and fumbles a lot too!!! Alas, that was not the subject of your post.

I'm surprised that none of our opponents have tried to acquire a cheetah yet.
