No even if it might have been in his best interest to (well since he was drafted at 13 it ended up fine), he stayed for his senior year. |

Hmmm...calling this brutal is an understatement. If basketball had the problem of too few great candidates, it's no suprise football has the opposite considering the number of guys on the team(this also explains why hockey was just right). 1. Brandon Graham-It's still going to be tough to top him as my favorite Michigan player ever. He might not have come to Michigan knowing what was going to happen, but he stayed his senior year when he didn't have to and he played his heart out. 2. Lamarr Woodly- Guns don't kill people..etc, etc. That 2006 defense was the most fun I'd ever had watching football until Team 132's squad. May rank slightly below BG because I agree that BG was slightly better. 3. Mike Hart-It feels criminal to not put a Team 132 guy in this slot, but I can't not put in Hart. I know some people didn't like his trash talk and he didn't beat OSU, but the latter was never really his fault.. You forget just how good he was until you go back and watch a highlight tape. |
| 1 week 2 days ago | The biggest problem with this |
The biggest problem with this exercise is that we're deciding between guys we all love(since obviously they all went to Michigan). Looking at the criteria again, I gotta say that it's Novak or none for me in this round. I don't know the football candidates yet, but I can't see Woodley/Graham not getting in and I can't put any but maybe Novak ahead of even a guy like Martin(not to mention Zoltan possibly). This is before looking at the hockey guys who probably also deserve at least two entries. Edit: The fact that I forgot Henne/Hart/Long just goes further to show how big a gap there is between sports. In conclusion, I like all these guys, but I still think only Novak should get in. |

To be fair to the guy you replied to, he didn't say TOs would revert to the mean, he said fumble recovery rates. I think that everyone can agree that there many part of TO margint that aren't random(QB/RB experience, having guys within 1 mile of ball carriers, etc.), but one part that pretty much is consistently random is the rate at which you recover fumbles(which we had an absurdly, unsustainably high % last year). |

If Zack Novak isn't a MgoHall of Famer, there is literally no point to this entire exercise. |
| 1 week 5 days ago | Considering Darius Morris was |
Considering Darius Morris was drafted AND is still on a NBA roster, his decision actually didn't work out too poorly. Whether he succeeds now will depend on how good he is and that's all you can ask for. |
| 1 week 5 days ago | Meh |
This list is dumb, but I remain unable to get OUTRAGED over a silly ranking list by a 3rd rate sports website. |
| 2 weeks 1 day ago | Basketball is still fist come |
Basketball is still fist come first serve so it wouldn't be a complete adjustment. And I know exactly what you mean about the camping out. Getting there at 11 the night before and staying all night to get in for Gameday is going to be hard to top as far as experiences at UM (although all sports teams are of course encouraged to try to do so) |
| 4 weeks 14 hours ago | I don't think interceptinos |
I don't think interceptinos tend to be luck-based(inexperienced QBs tend to throw more of them, more experienced CBs cause more of them), but I feel like there is a certain element of good fortune needed to recover fumbles on both sides that might cause one to state that "TOs are random." because half the number can vary somewhat wildly from year to year. |
