I like the piped in music only because we can't hear the band in my section which is in the Southwest corner of the stadium.
On every survey I have gotten from the AD the last 5 years I have always said to move the band into the endzone of the Student section. This way the band is pointing south and the majority of the stadium will be able to hear them without having the mic the band up. However I do believe when they poured the foundation in that area years ago they did so to accomodate the band so it might not be as easy as just moving them a section or two over.

Also have been to 121 of the last 124 home games (Started in 1997 season). Missed only 3 games due to weddings. I might add I have missed many weddings to go to games just 3 I couldn't.

I rent out for my seats every year. I like it because I don't have to carry my seat cushion around with me or remember to grab it before leaving the tailgate. Also it acts as a seat saver since it is fixed to my seat. I don't mind the little extra money but I buy in before the price increase in August.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||As we heard the student||
As we heard the student athletes supported Dave Brandon but the next home game after the Minnesota debacle my tailgate in the Blue Lot put up two signs on our canopy.
One read "Fire Brandon" the other one read "We Support the Players."
During that tailgate we had multiple non-revenue athletes come up to us and thank us for the support and really appreciated the sign. Through their tone and demeanor I took every one of their comments as they weren't happy with Brandon either but they couldn't say that.
This is just what I took away from it. I am sure there were plenty athletes that supported Brandon but I am sure there were quite a few that didn't care either way or understood the fan bases' issues.
Just thought I would throw this out there.

I got this email from the athletic department and step by step to see your seat assignments.
You may view your season ticket locations via the following:
Then click on this football season's order I believe and it will show you your seats.

Was at Winter Beer Fest in GR! Had CBS, Black Note, Demetrius from Arbor Brew and many more!

You are probably correct. The 03-04 season I had tickets but I also interned at Yost so I was working alot of the games. Either way the parents had been there prior to that year for at least 3 years since my first game was in 2000.
|39 weeks 2 days ago||The parents were moved to the||
The parents were moved to the other side of the ice near the penalty box somewhere around 2005 or 2006.
I was a student from 2000-2004 and the parents were behind their respective benches every season I was a student. I believe there were some altercations between away parents and students that cause the move to the other side of the ice.
I had been to almost every home hockey game from 2000-2011. I moved away from the area middway through the last season before the renovations were made. I actually attended my first game since the renovations this past Sunday. My impressions is the renovations seemed to make Yost quieter which was dissapointing to me.

That is true and I believe they still have 3 high school teams as well (Pioneer, Huron & Saline).

The Ann Arbor Ice Cube is far from vacant with the NTDP move. The youth hockey association there was and still is the biggest tenant. The figure skating association is also a big tenant as well.

I believe they are just closing the Green Lot which is the UofM Golf Course Clubhouse parking that is accessed from Stadium Ave due to construction at the club house. The green lot has been a permit only parking area for a while.
I am sure the UofM golf course parking (not to be confused with the AAGO parking) that you enter off of Main and State Streets will still be available on good weather games.

Maybe I am missing something but the reason he looks like he could suit up tomorrow is because he is still playing in the NFL. When this was published in August he was getting ready for the 2014 season with the Raiders.

During my years at Michigan were the first couple years they had the validation fee to resell tickets. While I didn't like it at the time I think it is a good policy.
I would rather see UofM drop the price of tickets for Students to $10 per game and keep the validation process. This way any students that want season tickets can get them and you don't have to students that could care less buying season tickets and selling for a big profit. This is why they instituted this policy in the first place because some students that wanted tickets couldn't get them because they sold out and yet many students that just wanted to make a quick buck got them.
My senior year when I needed an extra ticket I would buy from a friend and go validate it so the person I was bringing didn't need to bother with it. Any students selling now can just go to the ticket office and validate before selling them.

I am good with that.
If Brandon is canned prior to when the seat licensing fee is due I will renew my tickets for another year regardless of Hoke. If Brandon is still around at the end of January I will probably drop my season tickets.
For the players sake keeping Hoke around through at least the OSU game seems like a good move (assuming no repeat of sending/keeping an injured player in).

Not only did he put info out that Hoke didn't want anyone to have especially ND (if it is true) and now he outed Michigan for a NCAA violation?
The OP is having a banner day posting!

|1 year 14 weeks ago||PSD will be $150||
I can almost guarantee they are going to make anyone that takes this deal pay the PSD by January 31st 2015 just like the rest of the current season ticket holders.
To me the only reason your first year PSD was not required is because you already donated the $500 (now $150) to get on the list.
I highly doubt that they would consider the tickets bought this year as the donation for next year. If that is the case they will have some pissed off current season ticket holders next year unless our PSD is waived as well.

If you move and haven't seen it yet if you just go online and tell the postal service you have moved then everything will be forwarded to your new address for 30 days.
This is assuming the expedited shipping is through the US Postal Service.
|1 year 31 weeks ago||When I was a student I don't||
When I was a student I don't remember having to pay for season tickets for football, basketball and hockey all before leaving for the summer.
I believe we only had to purchase football in the spring and then the hockey and basketball season tickets were to be purchased by the 3rd weekend in September in the fall.
This might be a part of the problem as it was much easier to justify some amount in the spring and then have some money to buy either hockey or basketball tickets in the fall.
But overall I think the price of $295 for student football is way too high. Needs to get back down to a maximum of $195.
