Barrett I think is a better QB than Braxton and I think Braxton is a the best athelete of the three and since Braxton wouldn't play qb at the next level it might have been an ok move to stay at OSU. However I like it that he won't have the ball every snap it bodes better for us.

Jones has one of the biggest arms in college football. He has a few million reasons to be a good teammate if he ends up backing up Barrett. If he does nothing else at OSU he'll still be off draft boards by round 3. His arm combined with that championship run are going to make that young man a lot of money.

There are only 60-70 touches per game on the football. Braxton is the kind of impact guy that should be playmaking every touch. An H-back touches the football like max 2-3 times a game, unless they design some new plays just for Braxton. I don't see that, but if so that might be like 2-3 add'l plays. This public move to H-back is just a nice way to set aside Braxton to narrow the competition ... and watch out for the fireworks when Urban has to name a starter. Not going to be a team "unifying" event in my opinion. It could create severe team division, especially if the starter gets off to a slow start. I mean either one of these guys is NFL material and is not going to be happy sitting out the season. This will be a total distraction for OSU. Having one of them injured or busted for tattoos might be better.

The X, Y, and Z receivers block fairly often. The H position is almost never used as a blocker. If he's on the field he'll either get the ball or be a decoy; you want the opponent to think he's getting it every play- what made Percy Harvin so effective was that the defense had to be aware of where he was on the field on every play of the game.

Without reading any comments, my initial reaction is obviously if he will be durable enough to play the wr position.

The kid is big, strong, and a superb athlete no doubt about it. But based off the past, he seems to get banged up rather easily.

Will be interesting to see. I however hope he flops and the Buckeyes lose every game.

Smart move on Braxton's part with his pro future in mind. Unlike many other Buckeyes players, coaches and most of their fans, he doesn't run his mouth constantly so it's a little harder to hate Braxton.

I don't know if that position is really a good one for him. I think his strengths are as a runner, as I think he's very elusive in the open field, but doesn't exactly have great straight-line speed. I  think a switch to RB would be a much better option for him. But then again, OSU improperly utilizing him is good for us, so I couldn't really care less.

Both Braxton and Barrett seem like nice young men who don't run their mouths and are great athletes, kudos to them.

Let them be strong and healthy so that when we upset them and shatter their dreams of repeating, it will be all that much better.
