UM vs. Iowa MBB Open Thread

Nik and GR are very far from being pros.

The rebounding effort is just starting to piss me off.  We aren't even trying to get them.

                         He ain't Trey Burke.  Not even close.

Horford is getting handled by everyone. Wow. 

Horford is consistently out of position. And when he's not, he's getting manhandled into being out of position. Not much toughness across the board today.

Rebounds are where we miss Mitch.

Stauskas sucks terribly today. GR3 always sucks, that guy blows!

GRIII now with more TOs than points.

Am I the only one who hates Woodbury's face?

This just makes me so sad for Mitch.

Not only would be better our offense, we wouldn't be getting crushed on the glass. And he'd actually bring some energy when all Nik and Glenn want to do is go home. 

Walton, however, gets to the rim.

Agree w post below about Nik's body language being poor.

I really like Walton. Kid is tough. Our front line, on the other hand... Just once I'd like to see one of our 4s or 5s clear a guy out on the defensive glass and dominate a rebound. So goddam soft.

I've stopped watching, no need to get more upset than I am on a nice Saturday. Oh well, we're only a game behind MSU now, maybe Wisconsin can do us a solid.

Dakitch correct about one thing : GRIII may be considered a pro, but he sure doesn't play like one

Gesell isn't even supposed to be a good defender.  He's not a lockdown guy like Ferrell.  How is he completely taking Nik out of his game, to the point that Nik seems flustered?

 

Is he purposely being a prick? I usually like listening to him but he is unbearable today.

Uncharacteristically careless with the ball today. FUG-LY. 

We decided to play worse, officials decided that traveling is not a violation. Me is more frustrated. Not the best halftime

can't beat a couple of big non-NBA white dudes off a dribble, how do they expect to play ball in the NBA?

If a kid is not putting forth effort set his backside on the bench and put someone else in.  I can stomach missed shots, but lack of effort is not acceptable.  How many wide open threes have we given up.  Nothing like pissing away a chance to at least stay tied for first.

That was a weak ass foul.
