He must be waiting to make sure we can paste at least 1 B10 team before committing. Well played Demetrius

Is it a bad sign that he is going to decide after his visit to Bama and not this week like it was suppose to be previously or just kind of meh?
September 27th, 2010 at 11:23 PM ^
Even IF he goes with Bama, don't underestimate RR's snake oil. It's apparently pretty strong stuff
September 27th, 2010 at 11:30 PM ^
Dee is enrolling early so RichRod would have to start the heavy dose because he wouldn't have until signing day haha
September 27th, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
Nick Saban is snake oil on steroids compared to snake oil on Joe Tiller.
September 28th, 2010 at 6:43 AM ^
Question: Does snake oil have any effect on a snake?
September 28th, 2010 at 8:58 AM ^
Its made from bits of real snake, so you know its good.
and 60% of the time....it works everytime
September 28th, 2010 at 9:50 AM ^
It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.
..... I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline.

as a moisturizing agent. Although it could tend to make dirt stick.

I am starting to have dreams about Roundtree lighting up Purdue this year at rate of 15 catches for 250 yards. Let it be done.
September 28th, 2010 at 5:14 PM ^
Yes. It is, if not bad, at least a worrying sign. Remember that for months, Michigan was his self proclaimed leader, despite his other visits. Now he has been quoted as saying he has no leader, and he will announce after a visit to another school. that's not a great trendline.
September 28th, 2010 at 6:02 PM ^
A lot of them say there's no leader when it gets close to their decision so it's not predictable.
September 29th, 2010 at 7:56 AM ^
I like this response.

A backfield of Shoelace & Dee sounds pretty good to me

Tell him dennisblundon would love to see him go blue. If that doesn't do it somebody get Ricardo on this ASAP.
September 27th, 2010 at 11:10 PM ^
You know he's blue.
You KNOW he's blue.

im lovin the optimism. i really hope you are right

These kids emotions run high after a visit and their opinions of the most recently visited school will be highest right after that visit, aka high opinions for Bama next week when he makes his decision. This is of course provided that he enjoys the game and Bama wins, both of which are very likely. This makes me more nervous than ever, but I'm still keepin' my maize and blue fingers crossed.
September 28th, 2010 at 9:17 AM ^
I'm not saying he's choosing Michigan, but if he's already set the date, doesn't it likely mean that he's pretty much already made his decision? I mean, his visit to Alabama could potentially pursuade him, but he's already visited there and knows all about that school. I don't think anything spectacular is going to happen on his visit to change his mind if he's already made it. That is, I don't think anything spectacular that is not a recruiting violation is going to happen - - having smoking hot girls show me a good time on campus would likely change my mind about anything . . .
September 28th, 2010 at 10:21 AM ^
He's had that teammate of his whispering "Alabama" in ear and Ingram is more than likely to leave Alabama after this year (unless an NFL strike is 100% inevitable which it may be) so Saban is telling him he can step right into the lineup versus our situation with five guys already in the running back queue. The timing on this one makes me nervous.
September 28th, 2010 at 1:53 PM ^
and I hope Dee is too. But has anybody thought about the possibility that the only reason he is going to visit Alabama this weekend is to get sideline passes to watch 2 top 10 teams (Alabama and Florida) play? If I was going to Michigan, I wouldn't make that known before I had a chance to see this big game. I would wait until after the visit, make sure I was OK with my previous decision after seeing two of the nations best teams play, and then put on the block M hat next week.....
What young kid who loves football would not want the opportunity to watch Alabama / Florida for free on the sidelines? Hell, I am 43 and a UofM fan and I would love to be on the sidelines watching this game for free, as well....
September 27th, 2010 at 11:10 PM ^
So, in your opinion, does that bode well for us?
September 27th, 2010 at 11:14 PM ^
Recruits talk to TomVH in confidence. I'd rather Tom refrain from giving his opinion, out of respect for the recruits and so future recruits know he won't go and broadcast his "insider information" that was told to him off-the-record. Of course, keep all the on-the-record stuff coming, Tom!
September 27th, 2010 at 11:33 PM ^
I don't think Turbo's request is out of bounds. Tom is professional enough not to leak any information told to him in confidence, but recruits also don't always have their minds 100% made up and Tom can get a feel for which way a recruit is leaning before the decision becomes official.
September 28th, 2010 at 9:44 AM ^
I swear I read somewhere that Dee is only going to check out Bama with some friends, but doesn't have any serious interest in matriculating there himself. Can't remember where I read that now though...
September 28th, 2010 at 9:59 AM ^
Pretty sure that's what he said about Arkansas.
September 27th, 2010 at 11:12 PM ^
He has been high on each team he's visited immediately after the visit. I don't think he'll make any rash decisions -- hopefully the fact that he already set a date for his announcement implies that he already knows who he's signing with (and hopefully that'd be the team that he has already taken an official visit with).
September 27th, 2010 at 11:13 PM ^
Well hopefully its late next week and not on Sunday after the game.
I don't like the fact that its a big game at Bama and one of his best friends is in his ear to join him.
September 27th, 2010 at 11:13 PM ^
I for some reason have a bad feeling about this. I dont know why, I just do.
September 27th, 2010 at 11:17 PM ^

several consecutive years of dong punch can do that to a person's expectations. things are getting better.

and we don't ever expect good things to happen to them.
September 28th, 2010 at 9:43 AM ^
I have this bad feeling that Saban's going to offer him one of those "medical scholarships" and Hart will be smart enough to realize that he can get a free-ride college education without putting up with the hassles of two-a-day practices, concussions, etc.
September 27th, 2010 at 11:14 PM ^
This commitment is 2 years in the works. Lets hope he goes Blue. I have a feeling this would be a game-changer on the recruiting trail with other SECland recruits.

While Dee's commitment may not make or break Michigan football, it will certainly make or break my day. AMHG, we'll call it even if we get this one.
