I might possibly agree with…

I might possibly agree with him. If you haven’t seen it, check out “The Kings”. Awesome documentary on Leonard, Hearns, Hagler and Duran. Really cool insight into how all the rivalries intersected.

If you listen closely to the

If you listen closely to the refs explaining to Joe, the main ref tells him that the clock ran out before he had control (which wasn't even close) and so he only got the 1 point escape.  You hear Joe yell back that Justin had him for "10-12 seconds", which he did.  Amazing mental meltdown by the ref.  That really hurts after getting jobbed in the Minnesota duel as well.

Oh, cool, it's you.  Hey, did

Oh, cool, it's you.  Hey, did you get my $10,000 yet?  I know the Nigerian mail system can be slow.  Just making sure you were able to get your inheritance, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon about my share.  Thanks, I was starting to get nervous.

Exactly.  I was having

Exactly.  I was having trouble trying to convince another MIchigan fan that Denard might be our best recruiter right now.  We're all over the TV and he makes us a legit threat over the next few years.

Just read that myself.  Cool

Just read that myself.  Cool aritcle.  I like the idea of the #77 being like the #1.  If Lewan approaches Jake's talent and character the next 4 years will be even nicer.

Pretty impressive.  I was on

Pretty impressive.  I was on my way to an MGoHiatus until this post.  Try to slip in a Mike Cox/That's what she said and you're perfect.

Dee, then D

He's going to commit next week.  Focus on him, then shift gears.  Yeah, we need defensive players, but when you have an opportunity at a star like Hart, you take it.

Can't wait. Thanks TomVH.

Agree.  I said the same under

Agree.  I said the same under the post game presser and got neg'd for whatever reason, but I don't care.  It was good to see him play, do well, and gain confidence for if/when he has to do the same thing in a conference game.

Tim - how much, if any do you

Tim - how much, if any do you expect Sousa to contribute with our current stable of QB's looking as good as they do?  Obviously, barring injuries.

Hey Brian, could you change

Hey Brian, could you change the website motto to "Get Out Of Bounds!" Couldn't be happier to see Tate out there looking sharp.  I guarantee that little playing time investment will payoff in a close conference game possible/hopefully brief Denard injury/just ran a 300 yard TD situation.  I finally got me some Hopkins, and felt great about it (until the fumble).  Still love him as a short yardage back.

Develop the young guys and

Develop the young guys and recruit better players.  Forget all this move-this-guy-switch-scheme-attack-gap nonsense.  In the immortal words of Butthead, you can't polish a turd. Oh yeah, this is still better than the last 2 years.  I don't dread Saturdays right now, and that's nice.

Over the 50 is 4 down

Over the 50 is 4 down territory.  I've been begging for it since the 2nd quarter of the ND game.  Does anyone have a good excuse as to why I can't get any Hopkins on 3rd and 1?  Or any other time except his 1 yard TD against ND, a situation he was created in a lab for?  There's got to be a reason, I just can't think of one.

Exactly.  I can't handle too

Exactly.  I can't handle too many more "Exit...." articles.

Denard rolling right and

Denard rolling right and throwing back across the field to Stonum, wearing a defender like a shirt and dropping it in his arms.  I'm glad Stonum can see now, and that if he's seeing a blurry streak on the field, it's just D Rob.

Ray Vinopal, total combined tackles, INTs, PBUs: O/U 5.5 Under

Will A Michigan Freshman Intercept A Pass: Yes/No No

Let me be the first to say I

Let me be the first to say I think Denard is fast and I'm very happy he's our QB.  Oh yeah, and if Fitz plays well and Hopkins develops as a short yardage back....wait for it.....it's going to be hard to get Mike Cox in there.

Mike Floyd's stat line was 5

Mike Floyd's stat line was 5 catches for 66 yards.  He went 2 for 32 uncovered on the last drive, meaning (and I had to ask the Mathlete) 3 for 34 meaningful, covered yards.  If you would've told any Michigan fan before the game that Floyd would put up 34 yards on 3 catches, we would have all assumed he got hurt on the 4th play of the game.  I had figured him for more like 12 catches for 150-175 for so with some TD's.  Except for the megaplay errors, whoever the primary Mike Floyd defender/defenders was deserve maybe a high ten.

That was the best I've seen

That was the best I've seen 4th Jonas Brother Mouton, especially on the INT.  Didn't bite on the fake, baited QB, great catch with contact coming on the INT.  I know we're not allowed to bad-mouth him, but holy crap it looks like Kovacs is on roller skates on most plays, and IMO his INT, he was covering one of our players and was in the wrong place at the right time.  I checked the replay again, he's covering Mouton (who makes another great play). I don't hate Mouton!

Dude, absolutely.  Bama

Dude, absolutely.  Bama should thump Florida, who's looked pretty sketchy, and you know Saban would love to stick it to Michigan, so Dee's going to get considerable attention during his visit, and probably dinner at an ATM inside a car dealership.

"Hey, throw the ball the

"Hey, throw the ball the other way a$$hole!"

-Poor WR lined up across from 23

I'm going to enjoy this

I'm going to enjoy this win today, but I'm interested in the news this coming week about Tate separating himself from the team.  It pisses me off, because we could really use his experience from last year as DRob's backup, since odds are about 100% he'll have to miss a quarter/half/game or so this year the way he plays.  It would be nice not to throw a freshman with a shaky grasp of the O out there.  But if he's going to act like that.....

We have to win.  My dong is

We have to win.  My dong is still purple from being speed-bagged for the last 2 years.

I just watched D Rob's

I just watched D Rob's fumble/scramble/dilithium explosion run against Western. It was a nice reminder.  I feel less depressed and not like throwing up.

I just threw up in my mouth.

I just threw up in my mouth.  A lot.

I heard Rich Rod's been

I heard Rich Rod's been combing the campus for walk on DB's.  He needs to look out of state.  I'm over 30, I run a sub-7 second fake 40, and amazingly I still have 4 years of eligibility.  I'm stretching as we speak.....wait.....well, shit...nevermind, I just pulled something.  Try the drama club RR.

So if I'm reading this right,

So if I'm reading this right, Denard good, Denard fast, Denard accurate, everyone love Denard, DG moving up fast, DG awesome.....Tate....sits down and real tired looking.  So, is Tate starting or.....

I feel like that "Ginger Kid"

I feel like that "Ginger Kid" on You Tube.  This makes Water Bottle-gate seem less important, and I didn't think anything could do that.

I live in Dallas and can't be more pumped to watch the game.  Plus, I ran into Jerry and he said it was cool if we wanted to bring bottled water into the stadium.

We can still bring giant

We can still bring giant bottles of liquor and black tar heroin, right?

Texas is not joining the Big

Texas is not joining the Big Ten.  I was born and raised in Michigan, but I've been stuck down here in Texas for 15 years.  Blue in Seattle's point about Texas at one time not being part of the union is only half of the point.  There are plenty of people down here who STILL talk about seceeding and forming their own country again.  I mean, seriously talk about it.  Down here, everyone north of Oklahoma is a yankee, and as important as football is down here (ridiculously), I think we could expect to see the United State of Texas before a single conference game against the Longhorns.

Funny.  Way to avoid the

Funny.  Way to avoid the obvious Chris Rock comedian joke and slip in the granite reference as well.

No matter what Rich Rod does

No matter what Rich Rod does here this year, he can take comfort in the fact that he didn't allow this to happen to us on his watch, and for that I will always be grateful.  I was thinking about....uh oh.....oh no.......buh buh buh buh we are Notre Dame.........no!  it's happening.....out of my head Demon seed of Clay Aiken and Ellen Degeneres.

I live in Texas

and I would be willing to guarantee it never happens. I'd kill to catch a Michigan game down here, but the state is so Tex-o-centric and full of themselves, they would never "stoop" to joining a midwest conference (down here, everything north of Oklahoma is Canada). There are still bumper stickers (in the year 2010) pulling for Texas to secede from the United States. Don't get me wrong, I would be thrilled, and as to the Big Ten Network's increased viewership, I pay extra to get it already, so subtract me from the "new viewers" numbers.

I just read Chengelis'

I just read Chengelis' Detroit News article(that paper's ok to read, right?) talking about how DG enrolled late and is in a dorm room with a non-athlete. Is there anyway you guys up there can track this dude down and get him on this site so we can make sure DG's getting his rest, eating well, watching film, all that stuff? Plus we can referee roommate issues, like setting limits on phone calls at night, and volume limits for his(the roommate's)stereo and stuff. DG's comment was he doesn't know if his roommate knows who he is yet. I'm anxiously waiting for someone creative on this site to make an Odd Couple YouTube video of the 2 of them.

I'm with you on Koger. He

I'm with you on Koger. He had some Braylon in him last year, making fantastic catches, dropping some easy ones, overall frustrating and capable of more. He does need more looks, as it seemed he was usually uncovered downfield in the slot.

I just got his article in the

I just got his article in the freep linked to me by family in Michigan. I'm on a campaign now to make sure none of them read anymore freep articles. As soon as I read it (mostly for ammo against the paper) I checked this site, and found one of our members had the situation well in hand. Good work.

Dorsey saved an otherwise

Dorsey saved an otherwise disappointing day with the Parker loss. I can't believe he chose Washington (that Washington?) over USC after Kiffin took him to dinner at an ATM.

I heard Rashad Knight signed

I heard Rashad Knight signed with Rutgers because he wanted to play for coach Samwise Gamgee and go on adventures. Is that true Brian? What are the insiders saying?

Manny

Ugh. What is his deal? You know John B. isn't just making a point. Anyone know what happened? I could've seen Manny using this as a vengance game from last year's BS elbow incident.

It was nice to see him (Jack)

It was nice to see him (Jack) go out of his way last night to show up to the game, letter jacket on, and continue with his previous statement. He can't last in LA through this trade season. Is there a team in Detroit that has suffered a ridiculous number of injuries this year? One that could actually use definite help at the trade deadline this year? I can't remember.

That's the most sense I've

That's the most sense I've seen made of all this recruiting stuff.

Don't know if anyone else

Don't know if anyone else read the SI article on the Muck Bowl and kids from Pahokee, but I left that article wanting more recruits from there. I was given Ash a week later. Kind of a nice plus after several minuses recently.

Thanks dude. Just looking

Thanks dude. Just looking for people who are going through what I am right now. I live in Texas, so no one to really complain with, except A&M fans, but trust me, you don't really want to talk to them any more than you have to.

Smith leaving is like a dong

Smith leaving is like a dong graze. It doesn't hurt at first, but later on you're trying to figure out why it hurts all the way to your lower back, and you're about to make sick all over the floor. We should all be pretty calloused in that area by now.

I actually am one

I actually am one (a doctor, not that it matters), but ligament injuries don't really have anything to do with size, and most of the ones I've seen weren't contact related, just planting on it wrong and bad luck. (Except Willis McGahee's. That was just gnarly.)
