To the surprise of no one, #5 UNC is hilariously overrated

#5 UNC currently trails the current dumpster fire of a program Florida St 24-0 before half.

The push of the narrative that the ACC is a strong conference continues to fall apart (ND struggling to Louisville and Miami looking like they don’t belong on the same field as Clemson a week ago).

Turns out the ACC is Clemson and Clemson only.

It should have been. The refs called a well deserved pass interference on the 4th to last play of Carolina's drive, but over looked an even worse one on the very next play by the same player.  He had a hold of the  targeted receiver's jersey and stretched it a full foot and a half away.  It was completely in the center refs view. That would have put North Carolina on the 30 in field goal range if needed.

Don't get me wrong, Carolina didn't help themselves by dropping what would have been a first down on the last 2 plays of the game.

I think UNC is overrated but they were also getting pretty unlucky in that first half against FSU.  Looks like that might be changing, mostly because FSU is still hot garbage.

Just when we thought FSU was about to self-destruct, the Tarheels decide to instead.  NC misses a mid-range FG attempt, 31-21 FSU with ~ 12 1/2 minutes left.

They just defeated the purpose of al that social distancing all night long by all the fans crowding down at the sidelines and high-fiving the players.  It's all down to just luck after that.

3 inexcusable drops on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th down end the game. Any one of those caught and UNC easily in FG range to tie at minimum. As UNC alum, very hard to watch after an almost historic comeback.

also an alum.

not only did they drop three passes in a row, but how the f do you call two runs like that in the final two minutes? The game ended 15 minutes ago and I'm still absolutely baffled by that playcalling. they picked up little to no yards and cost them valuable time. what a crazy end to that historic potential comeback.
