Support Michigan NIL by Drinking Beer

First post, go easy on me.  Searched and couldn't find this ever being posted even though its a few weeks old.

Was browsing the beer selection at my local Busch's Market and stumbled upon a "Champions Circle Maize Ale" by New Holland Brewery.  Did a little Googling and found that this is a partnership between New Holland and Champions Circle with some of the proceeds going to support our NIL program.

Picked up a 6-Pack, not a huge fan of Blonde Ales but it was okay.

Since we are talking about beer, anyone get their hands on the "Stealing Signs" beer from Saucy Brew Works in Cleveland?  I know its supposed to be making fun of Michigan but I love the cans and would love to have a 4-pack of it.  Wondering if anyone was able to get their hands on some and if it was any good.

I was in Cleveland over Thanksgiving when Saucy Brew Works announced and sold the Stealing Signs beer.

Waited in line at their location in Orange, OH, with about 50 Buckeyes.  Got two four-packs...but already gave away some of the cans to friends.

I'm not an IPA guy so I can't really judge the quality of it.  Someone in line with me described it as being "ok" for a pale IPA.

On another note, we were in a Browns/Buckeyes store in the same mall.  I offered my 19 year old daughter (2026 UM GRAD) $1 dollar to scream out "Go Blue."  She did so and got booed.  I screamed it out much more loudly when we left the store...and apparently caused quite the ruckus...according to our cousins who remained in the store.  (These same cousins just announced their oldest is attending OSU next fall...so....)

It’s high time they do a Classic American Pilsner over there —a once-forgotten pre-prohibition style revitalized by Ann Arbor’s very own Jeff Renner— which features a prominent corn bill in the mash and can very easily play into a “maize” motif

Incidentally, you can intermittently find a CAP on tap at Brewery Becker up in Brighton

No NIL connection that I know of, but there's always Haze and Blue IPA from Big Lake Brewing in Holland. It's in a lot of stores, at least in W MI.

Great to see a craft brewery from MI have an affiliation with Michigan football. New Holland is great; blonde ales may not be the most exciting but if it's done well, the style can be very enjoyable. Hopefully we can get some genuine craft beer in the Big House.

Saucy is a mediocre brewery --if you're in Cleveland, there are about a dozen better options for locally-made craft beer-- that failed to establish a brewpub location in Detroit. I wouldn't bet on this beer being an exception to the rule. P.S. their logo is a pretty clear ripoff of Rhinegeist’s.
