Spring Game

Submitted by Ball Hawk on
I know for many fans that have said that last year's spring game was their last one that they will attend. If Harbaugh becomes HC, will you come back to watching the spring game? Does anyone know if Harbaugh plays an actual game? Attendance should skyrocket at this year's spring game.

Maybe we'd actually--and this going to shock you--play an actual spring game for the first time since 2001.

I know that we don't take this game seriously compared to PSU, Ohio State, or Nebraska but we may have 60K this year with good weather. We'll at least have 30K which is a lot better than the few hundred who showed up last year.

I've never attended the Spring Game because I live too far away and have been too busy with work most years to attend an exhibition. That being said, if Harbaugh is in fact named head coach I will be making every effort to attend this coming year.

While the actual "games" have been useless, it's been fun to let my 4 year old get a taste for tailgating and experiencing the Stadium without the crowd. I'll still go next year, but might leave her at home if it will be packed.

Arrive. But they never do. Then we go to every sports bar in town. No one is there. Am I missing something or do I hang with real fans ,

Shut it all down. Close the fortress and build the army. I think Jim will be more worried about winning and once again the spring game will be a thing of the past.

Just from the buzz on social media alone, I have to think the line along to get into the Spring game will extend up Main Street, through downtown, onto M-14 and then split west, east and north depending on which direction people choose to approach the city from. Those approaching from the southern reaches of the city will be backed up as far as Saline, Milan, and possibly towards Eastern's campus if you're coming from Ypsilanti or Canton.

if they actually act like that want fans there I'll go. the last ten years they act like they are doing us a favor by having a "spring game". if the whole " Harbaugh will bring in a billion dollar" thing is true, then throw some of that cash at the spring game.

I've been saying this for a while now WHEN HArbaugh becomes HC the spring game will break 100,000 fans guaranteed as long as weather is decent of course

I think this will be huge since nearly everyone is onboard with ing Harbaugh and we are starving for wins. The last 8 years, the fans have been kind of divided on the last 2 coaching hires.

I used to go -but the last 7-10 years have not been interesting enough just to watch a crappy scrimmage - could not even watch on the BTN --

but I predict this year -- the sun will be shining, the birds will be singing & the qbs will be slinging -- count on it-- good weather & a game

I'll be brutally honest here. I've been to a bunch of spring games over the years. And every time I go again after a few years of sitting it out, I'm reminded of why I usually don't go.

Harbaugh or not, I just find it incredibly boring.

the game wouldn't be scheduled for April 5, the way it was last year. Even two weeks later can make a huge difference in the weather around here.
