You bringing a bike down? I'm doing the "conquer the cobbles" ride on Friday night, but would like to get a ride in Saturday or Sunday if you are interested.
I think one of the Marian kids won the Junior women's TT today.
Oh wow, that's very generous. I might take you up on that. Like another poster, I'm coming down with guys who care more about the racing than football, and they are my ride, so I'll find out what their plans are that day. But I'll email you and let you know. Thanks!
WHAT I DID ON MY SUMMER VACATION INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING ABOUT A LACK OF PRESS CONFERENCES
This reminds me of a podcast (The Audible?) I listened to where Stu Mandel was complaining about blogs and how they essentially pick through "real reporters" quotes for their content. It made me so mad then and reading this made me mad again. You can't get this in-depth stuff anywhere else but here.
I really enjoyed it. I liked that we knew more about what was happening than the characters, kinda helped build suspense. I also like that the walkers are an important focus of the show. I feel like on TWD they are just background noise now, it's all about the living people. Which is fine, I still enjoy TWD, it's just nice to kinda hit the reset button and see people freak out about zombies again.
But from what I remember when I tore mine freshman year... The ACL just stabilizes the knee joint, prevents movement of the lower leg in relation to the upper leg. I remember the "field test" the doctor did before ordering an MRI. I sat on the table with my legs out in front of me. I bent my knee toward my chest, keeping my foot on the ground, and he grabbed behind my calf and pulled towards him. If he could feel excessive looseness, I think that's a sign that the ACL is torn.
But you are right. I tore mine a month into my freshman year, and finally got it fixed the following summer. It hurt like hell right away and was swollen for a week or so, but after that, it was ok. For me, it was more the mental aspect of trusting my knee. I was always worried it would "go out" again, and I'd have to go through all that pain again.
I tore mine at the CCRB freshman year. Yeah, it was really bad for a week or so, but once the swelling went down, it didn't really hurt that much. I went back to playing basketball all year and then had it fixed on summer break. It was my understanding that the ACL just stabilizes the knee joint, so I probably did more damage to my miniscus by playing on it, but unless my knee "went out" again, it didn't really hurt.
Love these. Funny how the homes are very basic, no stripes or piping, and people love them. Yet everyone flips out if the aways are basic with no stripes and piping.
That lady isn't an obese, Walmart - scootering lady. She has a legitimate disability, that's pretty clear to see. So I'm not sure what you are getting at.
But it would have been a great catch if he held on. He looked kinda lost out there, needed help from the sideline to line up correctly. Widening out like that is a total tip-off that he's running slant...
Mine is a 749 Superbike, but I stopped riding on the road a long time ago, just the track. I haven't been on it in a few years though, ever since I had kids... :(
With Froome having things almost locked up, the suspense at the front is kinda low, but I watch for great efforts by other riders and teams. Geraint Thomas for one, has been riding out of his mind, and MTN Qhubeka is riding so much better than anyone thought they would. Polka dots for a few days, a stage win, and always have a guy or two up the road, I love the way they ride. I'm a cervelo guy though, so I might be a bit biased.
Ettix QuickStep on the other hand have really been no-shows. Martin had yellow for a little bit, Cav won one stage and that's about it, right? For a team as high powered as them, that's a bit dissapointing.
Finally, I love that Astana is doing nothing. Shouldn't even be racing.
I don't think he's a great actor, but the writing isn't doing him any favors. I don't know the actress who plays his wife, but she's a miserable actor. Those scenes are so hard to watch. I know they want me to care if they can have a kid or not, but I really don't care about those two characters at all.
Yeah, good point. In the books, Tommen really seems young though, he'd rather play with his cats than anything else. So maybe it's just a character thing, not an age thing.
You gotta remember, that in the books, Tommen is like ~7-9 years old. So they aged him up a lot in the series, but in order to follow the storyline, they need to keep him childish and naive.
I agree on the Dany/Tyrion/Varys thing though. I got so excited just to see Dany and Tyrion in the same scene.
But she never really cared much about sports. Now she owns more Michigan clothes than MSU, and refers to Michigan as "we" when talking about the game. I consider it a hostile takeover.
But after that, my favorite is the Tour, I'd love to go follow it around one year. World Cup is fun too, it feels special because it's not played every year.
Well done! I don't want stickers, but I could live with small M's. You obviously did that in photoshop, can you make the M's blue but with a matte finish? I kinda wondered what they would look like if they were just like "shadow" M's that you could barely see.
As an adult who (for some reason) is deciding to take up ice hockey for the first time, these analyses really help me understand positioning / moving without the puck. Thanks!
I agree, they can't do too much with the uniform design (although you could argue that they can with construction / materials). For me, I don't like a majority of the M stuff Adidas sells that I can buy. T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats... I think Nike does a better job with that stuff.

I'm guessing Brady Prieskorn, the TE?
Amazing article!
Picked up a fat bike a month ago, an `18 Kona Wozo. Completely ridiculous, but stupid fun.
Thank you for posting, order placed! Love the new styles! My team wears Castelli, so I've never had Pactimo, but I've heard great things.
But Alexey Vermeulen is a local kid, he rides for Lotto Jumbo. He grew up in the Ann Arbor area.

It feels like that song was written just for the end of that game. Nice job!

Congrats to your pops!
So that was YOU?

Cider and donuts. I am so dissapointed.

You have to be super cool to ride bikes.

So that's good. Just hasn't been really open yet. Definitely rooting for him!

Devin got 1 target so far, but it was a sloppy slant and he couldn't hold on, ball got popped out.

How much of that was because Norfleet was on Darboh though?

Hope they have some super beefy servers next year when Nike hits. I know I'm planning on spending a ton of money.

Have you listened to the RadioLab podcast about Project Azorian? If not, check it out, you will dig it.
All black Jordan 11's would be sweet.

Reek kills Roose and Ramsey, Sansa rouses the northerners and takes back Winterfell.
Daily Driver - Hummer H1, to run s**t over. And to carry my bicycle.

He is wonderfully insane. What I would give to just sit and watch practice.

Thanks for posting, that was hilarious. All those mustaches and winks look a bit creepy now-a-days.
Will the new ST coach run the spread punt? And can he count to 11? That's all I care about.
But let's not compare him to CWood and Deion just yet Jesse Palmer.
