I miss the original block M design at center court. Maybe they could have made it a bit larger to fill out the circle, but I've never been a fan of the current huge block M.
That's because Marchenko has more experience and played in the KHL before joining the Griffins. Oullet is only 21 and Sproul is 22, there's still time for them to develop.
It would not cost two first rounders. I was suggesting swapping 1st round picks, prospect and another pick. Future looks bright... just need a legitimate blue chip defensive prospect.
Sproul has the highest upside, but none of the defensive prospects have first pairing potential. Werenski has that and if he can work on his defense(he'd be given plenty of time), could be a legit top line guy. Personally, I would take the risk and hope he becomes Kronwall's successor.
I wonder what it would take to move up 10-15 spots... 1st round pick, prospect and another pick?
It's a small case so they'll probably revise it to add Harbaugh. Rodriguez does not have a plaque because he didn't win anything, but his name is on the list of coaches.
It's happened twice against Wisconsin. Death to Backboards and the half-court shot at the Kohl Center. Tonight we had two different chances to foul and blew it both times.
I can support the team, but still criticize the poor coaching in this game. They absolutely choked and the head coach should get the blame because it's the 10000000000000000 time we have not fouled when up by three at the end of the fucking game..........
There's no way a good coach would make the same mistake twice in the same fucking game. THIS IS LIKE THE 10TH TIME IT'S HAPPENED! WHY DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING FOUL WHEN UP BY THREE???!!!
I also remember when Jason Whitlock said this about Wellman:
Hoke doesn’t rebuild programs by himself. He has the best strength coach in college football, Aaron Wellman. Over the course of five years, Wellman took two fat offensive tackles (Robert Brewster and Andre Ramsey), an undersized center (Dan Gerberry) and a razor-thin tight end (Darius Hill) and sculpted them into all-conference players and NFL prospects. Brewster, Ramsey, Gerberry and Hill formed the foundation of Ball State’s 2008 team and then landed on NFL rosters in 2009. That’s incredible for a Mid-American Conference team.
We had Barwis before him, who was considered by many to be the best in the country. IMO, all this stuff about strength and conditioning is way overblown.
I actually like the current blue jersey, but I'll wait until they go on sale to get one. They had it at Dunham's and it was surprising how light and cheap it felt. Not worth $120. Same thing with NHL jerseys, the old CCM/Koho ones were much better than Reebok.
His goal in the final minute against the Sharks(2007 playoffs). It completely turned that series around, instead of being down 3-1 it was tied 2-2 and Wings went on to win 4-2.
This seems pretty cheap for a guy that, while older, is still good. If he works out, he’s not likely to cost much to play another year or two. I like what Holland has done, we gave up essentially nothing and made the team better.
I still think Phaneuf would be a good fit with Babcock and the Wings system(where he doesn't have to be the leader). Also, dealing Smith would make sense since there's a logjam on D with Ouellet and Machenko ready to play full time.
I would still take the Rangers in a 7 game series. As a Wings fan, New York is the team in the east that really scares me. I would rather go up against Price than Lundqvist.
He'll get it from someone, remember that crazy contract Revis got from the Bucs. Raiders and Jets have a lot of cap space, but if he wants to win now the Packers are a perfect fit for him.
He's a big body forward with some speed that can forecheck. Abdelkader, Cole, Glendening and Helm(if healthy), is a waive of forechecking that will annoy teams come playoff time. I wish we had also gotten Yandle, but the price was high. Phoenix was probably asking for a 1st and Mantha or Larkin.
I would like to see a rule change that gives the regular season champ an automatic bid. A crappy team(like Wisconsin this year) could win the B1G tourney and get an NCAA bid over someone that had the best record in the league. How is that fair? Why play the regular season if all you need to do is just win a couple tourney games. At least in the old CCHA playoff tourney format, there was a bracket and bottom teams had to go through a gauntlet to make it to the Joe.
During the interview, Barwis talked about his pets. Now, a normal person would have a pet dog or cat or something like that, but not Mike Barwis. He had pet wolves and a dog-like animal from Spain that was bred to hunt lions. Seriously. Barwis also touched on how he once drove off a cliff and still made it to practice and then also discussed a ridiculous journey to West Virginia and back to move some things to Ann Arbor. The journey included being in a snowstorm, lifting a trailer back onto the road, and getting to practice only 30 seconds late after hurting his back and having only one functional leg. Folks, Mike Barwis truly is an urban legend.

I like it better than the blue with maize outline.

It sounds like they got rid of everything.
I want Hoke's coach of the year trophy to remain at Schembechler Hall. Just because someone was fired, doesn't mean they should erase the history.
Would you trust this guy?

I can't watch anymore of this...

This is the dumbest team in the country period.
Why don't we ever fucking foul when up by 3?!

He was on WDFN today, here's the podcast.
And this...

That's my third favorite behind these:

Bob Ufer vintage knit hat.
Bob Ufer vintage knit hat. They need to make them again because the one I have is falling apart.

I like how it's the same brick style as all the new buildings, including the 3d block M.
Yes, but still needs more time in the minors. He was recently ranked as the Wings #6 prospect.

Kronwall-Ericsson
DeKeyser-Phaneuf
Quincey-Marchenko
Ouellet

I saw this coming back in December when all the Suh jerseys(at Ford Field) were marked down.
This one looks even better. I had only seen the white one and it still pains me that I was outbid on ebay(it sold for $55) for it.
'96 and '98.
This hat is awesome, but I've never been able to find it.

If he makes his decision by reading comments on blogs then I really don't want him.
It sucks, but it's his loss if he would rather play for Shaw than Harbaugh.
I think Brandon Peters will be our guy.
