I looked and didn't see it anywhere. That's the early line at covers.com. Beat State!

Looking at the bright side - there's no pressure on Michigan.  A close game puts huge pressure on Sparty.  Maybe they crack.

almost forgot--  this includes that Goofball @-PaS Loss.  AND--  indeed, a BYE-Week LY for @-MSU.  Hard To Believe

Like the Mch-O was AMBUSHED LY--  by this Double A-Gap FireScheme from MSU-D.  And then--  the remaining team-Ds just kind-of Piled-On in the remaining games.

I think Double A-Gap FireScheme is an Accurate Way to describe it--  and All That Flowed From It.

In some ways--  for THIS Specific Game, @-MSU 2014  . . .

its about--  Borges v-Nuss  . . .  NEITHER of whom, are Former MICHIGAN OCs  . . .

While part of me wants to think we can duplicate last year's OSU game (hooray for moral victories; those count too, right?!), I am genuinely scared. MSU will want to - and can - annihilate UM.

COnsider the following...

Hoke is 3-0 after a bye week last 3 years. Opponents? Purdue (2x) and Minnesota. Two of those games were at home with 2012 being at Purdue. That stat while seeming to be in Hoke's favor really isn't considering the competition.

Hoke is 6-10 on the road not counting bowl games and neutral site games. Only 2 of those losses are this year. This stat does not work in Hoke's favor at all of course. Even worse is this year he is 0-2 on the road against ND and Rutgers.

28, 21, 20, 17, 14, 12, 6.... see a trend here? Those are the scores UM had against MSU in consecutive years since 2007. Every year it has gone down and in only 2 of those years has UM won. Under Hoke UM has not scored more than 14 in one year, we have not scored a TD against MSU since 2011 and they are downright proud of that.

I do not have any faith in the UM offense to score this year, less than in any year in recent memory. Talk in here is that MSU's defense is down, that is true, but they will be up for this game. They always are and this year will be no different.

Question is will we score anything at all? I want nothing more than stick it to the Spartans, starting to hate them more than the Buckeyes. But I just don't see any conceivable way that we win this game. Our defense couldn't even dominate PSU's OL which is bad as they get. I just don't see being able to do it against MSU. I expect Connor Cook to pick our defense apart all game, I expect them to pund the ball at us at will, I expect them to jam our receivers and jump the ball all day, I expect them to atempt to retire Devin from CFB early just because they are Sparty.

34-6 MSU is my prediction (I hope I'm wayyyyyy off on UM's total)

All that said, I will cheer for a UM win Saturday. Beat Sparty and GO BLUE!

During last seasons UFR of State, wasn't there receivers wide open 30 yards down the field? I know, I know, blitz, but maybe if our oline can keep them out another 1-2 seconds, Gardner can connect on a couple of those. Weren't there pictures in the UFR of uncovered michigan receivers.

the Pass Route Package-- the Depth, sequencing, PrimarySeconday--  IS a Real Problem.

calling Dig-Routes, the Deep-INs.  I myself call them XZ-15-In, which are WR 15-yard Curl-INs.

these Routes-packages can have REAL Problems against FiresSchemes  . . . They take LONGER To Develope

Am I they only who thinks Michigan will cover the spread? I'm not saying that State won't win, but I just don't think it will be a pounding, more so because of the intangibles of rivarly games than anything else (such as coaching, player ability, etc.).

Well Green, yeah.  Peppers - who knows.  There were rumors (only) of a bone chip in the knee, in which case he probably still won't be ready.  Funchess will play and I thought Kalis played at PSU?

yep-  the Bye-week itself, was preceeded by 63-pts H-Ind and a week earlier 40-pts in The Goofball @-PaS game.

And then--  WHAM.  @-MSU  . . .  I have Opined Before that @-MSU remains the Template Game for opposing team-Ds, and all that Flowed From It.

And so-- THIS is the situation that Nuss-OC is in.  And for that matter Hoke-HC.

To the extent that Borges was AMBUSHED last year by MSU-Dcalls, Nuss now Has The Record in front of him  . . .

this is WHY--  Nuss was BROUGHT Here by Hoke  . . .
