We all love Jimmy and what he accomplished for the University. From what I read - the players love him. Seems like a great guy. But this game of interviewing with the NFL every year has gown old. It has to impact how recruits (including portal players) look at this program. I think it is time for UM to move on. We should have a coach that "cherishes" being UM's HC and views it as their dream job. Time to let Jimmy go......
Side question please: My son is learning math and asked me: "how far, in feet, is the UM stadium below ground level?" I have searched and search. Anyone know? Thanks in advance
I fully understand as I live on the Florida east coast. Still mopping up the water and picking up the damage from earlier this week. My prayers are with everyone in Dorian's path.
"You have to hit beveled guilt" .... very sorry to bother you but I cannot find that. Is this for real? I saw the Season Preview but never saw any instructions about beveled guilt fees.
If all of this is true.....yeah, times have changed - ok, I get that. But what I don't get: skip the Bowl game but play in the Senior Bowl. Why risk injury at Senior Bowl?
I am an alumnus - class of '76. Dad was class of '47, Mom class of '48. Daughters class of '10 and '14. Puzzled by what is accomplished through cheap criticism. Constructive criticism yes - but cheap shots? Why? I never played football. I have no idea how hard it really is - how much it hurts - what it is like to put in the time and effort - only to be chastised for a loss. I didn't see any player quit. I am certain that the players feel 10X worse than any fan. ND was a decent competitor and there is the possibility that these boys could win out and gain a rematch vs Irish. I believe in this team.
My fear is that since we consume ourselves with UM info - we tend to develop expectations which are not balanced. Most everyone we play will be better than last year. Is it possible that we are "double-better"? I hope so....
Not for me man. That is a gladiator position. You sit in one place, knee on the ground, massive angry men want to crush you and want to do it as fast as they can, thousands of people screaming their lungs out..... and you have to get the snap, set the ball, steady the hold - in all kinds of weather - and ignore that fact you are a milisecond way from disaster. That takes a set!
Our other recruit is Joe Milton. He is 6'5 225 and plays for Orlando Olympia HS. He has played QB in 26 games over 3 years: Passing stats: 3516 yards; (135 avg per game) 46% completion; 31 TDs; 19 ints. Rushing: 166 carries; 274 yards; 9 TDs
Hard to imagine what it would be like to have millions of people watching everything you do - every second - commenting on every move, every play, good or bad - chastising every mistake. I choose to support these kids, good or bad, win or lose, because they are our guys.
I live in Gator county - which is its own kind of hell. I am sporting my blue-T with maize MICHIGAN - getting booos at the gas station and fingers at the grocery store. Scoreboard.
First game of the year - a lot of uncertainty with the starting roster - new coaches - all new special teams. I suggest you watch this one and bet the next game

Love our special team kickers. 10 kickoffs - no returns. 3-3 field goals (31,26,34) and 2 punts 51,43) XPS 6-6

I guess the Georgia car dealerships were closed
Can he play tackle?
I bet a co-worker $50.00 on the OKC-BKN game last night. Where do I send my 1% (50-cents?)

I'll take our team and our coaches anyday. Class and integrity count.
My thanks to whomever puts these together. Exceptional work - enjoyed it very much. Thank you
ANyone know the status of Jedd Fisch? Is he staying on Kelly's staff?

Good coaching is hard to find. Smith was making $150K base and now he will get to advance his trade and make more money for his family. Congrats

great work - thanks
Nephew works for local law enforcement. UM has A LOT of security in place. Many plain clothes types - many observers - dogs - etc.
Anybody know - if winds are constant and/or gusting 20mph+, how does that impact FGs? Is the field low enought to lesson the winds at goal post level?
So how did UNC skate all this time?
Anyone know if Mone played? I never saw him in the game or on the sideline.
pushing mid-60s. have no idea what 18-20 year olds want these days. let's just kick ass

many a good experience - a few not so great - but mostly, glad I got to experience it
nothing is worse than having your university ethics questioned

Let's dump MSU and play a team from the Sunbelt.
He's got great hands and is quicker than fast - very shifty - and tough as nails.
Goodby funny man. You brought a lot of humor to our lives. Thank you
That would be a nice touch
Telfort (LT) and Callaway (WR) are offense
