Glad to see that he still has a good relationship with Michigan and there is no animosity. He skill set doesn't fit best in our current scheme and he might have even been behind some guys. Hopefully he can get in the best scheme for him and maximize his potential.

position?  I do and I think he's proven it. Let's give a little credit to the staff here. People were convinced that Lyons was going to start, too. He was even considered the favorite here to play across from Lewis. That's because people didn't know how good the competition was. At this point that should be evident. Our secondary has exceeded even unreasonable expectations and Lyons can't even see the field in dime packages. I have to wonder whose playing time Countess would be taking.

Auburn looked to be greener pastures coming into the season. Things sure have changed. Hopefully Countess has a successful professional career ahead of him, but I do think he might have some regrets about walking away from the best defense in the country.

But not that big of a deal...

If I was an Auburn fan, I'd still prefer he wore a blank navy shirt if he wanted to support Michigan since that's Auburn's color as well.

nobody will know all the details except Michigan and Countess. Hope foir the best for both Michigan and Countess but looking at the defense I think it's much better suited to the corners  on defese as compared to a zone coverage sehcme. like hes seemed to be skiilled at/

Ryan Mallett was at Dance Marathon with a bunch of his old Michigan teammates weeks after he transferred in 2008, looking like he was enjoying being there and being in Ann Arbor. These guys are friends with their teammates, whether or not they're still teammates...

Good, I love that he feels at home in AA. He should, just like many of us he got a degree from there and it will always hold a special place in his heart. Glad to see that and would always welcome him with open arms. Blake is a great kid and deserves to feel
Loved for his contributions to the program and the university.

During spring practice and through the year, he must of felt himself slipping behind others and left to get more playing time. I think he loves Michigan but knew he would be a 2nd or 3rd stringer. It seem to all work out well for him.

The new defense wasn't going to be a good fit for him. He had to play to his strengths and give himself a chance to audition for the next level.

He left on good terms and will always be welcome back to me.
