I assume you guys are in finals right now? I was planning on studying but I got into a nice bottle of wine and now my night will be useless. Thats right, screw you international human rights final exam. What you folks drinking?

I almost started studying, then I realized that I graduated four years ago and thought, "Wait -- what am I doing?"

I'm not in school, so I'm not studying; I'm sick, so I'm not eating or drinking much of anything.  Instead, I've been watching hockey and baseball most of the day and trying to expend as little energy as possible while remaining alive.

I have notes opened and laid out on my table...

However, I also have a couple of ice cold bottles of summer shandy as I watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Tigers game tonight...

yeah, the "studying" is going quite well at the moment

I met an old roommate at The Quarter last night and had a Wolverine beer on draught.

1) It was an outstanding brew.  A Hoppy bouquet with no bitter aftertaste.  It was great.

2) I only had 2, yet daddy was gettin a little buzz.   I don't drink much anymore so my tolerance isn't what it used to be.  However, I could enjoy a couple of those from home every now and again.

So I should start studying for finals...

I'm thinking either a Matilda, Breakfast Stout, 60 min, Indian Brown, Aprihop or perhaps some Maker's

Lets open this for a vote.

So far:  I had a Strongbow at the bar and then my friend let me play StarCraft II on his laptop for a few hours.  OMG it's amazing.  Plus I won my 1v1 game so I'm quite happy.  I'm waiting for my other friend to get off work so I can drink some more with him.

been watching hockey all day rather than studying for my performance exam on monday for my education class...

JMFJ has scored one goal and one assist tonight for the Kings.

Drinking and watching hockey as well, and have been doing so all day. I should be writing my dissent for my Supreme Court simulation though, but I'd rather drink than play the part of Justice Alito tonight.

I moved to Madison, Wisconsin fairly recently and was really disappointed when the local grocery store didn't have any Oberon.  So I did a bit of hunting and found a place nearby that sells it.  So I'm enjoying my first Oberon of the spring.

Enjoyed the spring game despite the general hate towards the offense, but not as much as the 40th birthday party I went to and the various concoctions I can type (and of course my beautiful wife driving me home).

Last night?

Oberon, Hoegaarden, whatever swill was in the keg, and this vodka/purple drank concoction mysteriously nicknamed "Bullfrog." Also waaaay too many caffeine mints, and a 2am stop by Pizza House for bruschetta. If you were on Church street last night and saw a short girl trying to revoke her date's NY license for eating Backroom Pizza... I was that asshole. Oops.

This is an interesting risk/reward scenario: taking advantage of the opportunity to drink now vs. the opportunity to maximize your final exam grades (which may pay off down the road, though that isn't guaranteed).  Longitudinal studies should be done on this.
