After the game, Jake Butt, who holdsmultiple BCS offers, said he has a #1 school, and #2 is not close -#Michigan ($) bit.ly/x1JwDN

I love this news, don't know what his timeline is for a decision but hopefully Hoke and co. can keep up the good work for the class of '13!

He did say that the fact that Michigan was for sure #1 was "definitely subject to change". I know he's planned on taking his time in determining where he wants to go, so if either of those two offered, yes, I would expect them to be strong contenders for his services.

Note that one of the comments he made when I first talked to him was that the time that a team offers him didn't matter, meaning getting an early offer doesn't give a certain team a certain advantage.

Is that a traditional tOSU stronghold? I don't put much stock into the "who Urban wants out of Ohio Urban will get" talk, yet I'm sure the lure won't be as strong outside of their pipelines.

a decade ago, the football strength and focus stayed at Central (the building which used to be just Pickerington), but North (the new school) has done a nice job of building a strong program over the last few years.  If North could've held Central from scoring in the last minute this last season in their head to head meeting, North would've made the playoffs and Central would've been out (Central eventually went to the finals and lost).  North has still not defeated Central in regular season or playoffs.

North's 2012 OL Pat Elflein is, I think, their first osu commit.  Snowplow was another North product; his siblings, though, transferred or went all 4 years at Central.  Many more MAC commits than any BCS commits at North.  So not quite the osu stranglehold...but both Luke and Brady were visiting North this last fall; I'm guessing Jake was the main attraction.

I'm hoping Michigan also takes a look at RB Godwin Igwebuike while they're in town; he's been great in all three phases of the game - little preview in his video.
